  1. Hello, do you know the Great Commission is completed at the very end of the Great Tribulation. The only reason the Antichrist seems to be tolerated is to exploit his power to unify world media under one voice and to channel the Gospel through it to all tongues and nationalities. (Rev. 15:2) Souls are still being saved during the rein of the Antichrist (Rev. 11:7) The preaching of the Gospel continues during the Great Tribulation. (Rev. 11:9-10) The testimony of the Two Witnesses is enhanced by the Antichrist's unified global media. The Gospel will finally cover the earth in the end and the Antichrist usefulness will be no more. This is the 'end' spoken of in Matthew 24:14
  2. There is an online version of this, wherein if you hover the cursor over the verse addresses, the text of the verses pops up, without having to open new windows on the links, as happens here. It is much easier to use and read, but, you cannot reply to it there, if you want to reply/comment, that has to be done in this thread. True Discipleship Omegaman 3.0 - 5/13/16 The Great Commision Jesus, in his great commission ( Matt 28:19-20 ), given to his disciples, told them to make other disciples and to teach them to obey everything that he had said.If Jesus told his disciples to make other disciples and the teach them to obey everything he said, one of the things that the new disciples were to obey (because Jesus told the first disciples to do) is to make more disciples who are taught to obey. So, here we are some 2000 years later having been made disciples, because other disciples in the past have handed down the command of making disciples and teaching the new disciples to obey what Jesus said.So if we want to be true disciples of Jesus we also must make disciples and teach them to obey Christ and of course we must obey Christ as well. Obedience to what? So what things did Jesus command that we are supposed to pass on to others and that we ourselves are supposed to obey?Listed below I have collected quite a few of the verses from the Gospel (Matthew primarily) which contain the commandments of Jesus. It is not an exhaustive list. Some of the things Jesus cammanded were to particular individuals, not to us, so I did not include those. For example, after Jesus had spat on the ground and applied the clay to the eyes (I hope that means the eyelids) of the blind begger, He said: "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam". Clearly, that command was not to be applied to everyone, so that sort of thing, is not in the following list. Repent - Matthew 4:17 Follow Jesus - Matthew 4:19, 8:22 Let Your Good Works be Seen (with right motives) - Matthew 5:16 Reconcile & Confront Others, the Right Way - Matt 5:23–24, Matt 18:15–17 Don't Sin in Action or in Thought - Matthew 5:27–30 Don Make Oaths - Matthew 5:34, 37 Don't Respond to Evil with Evil - Matthew 5:39-42 Love and Pray for Your Enemies - Matthew 5:44–46 Be Perfect - Matthew 5:48 Seek God's Kingdom First - Matthew 6:33 Don't Judge -Matthew 7:1 (My Commentary on Judgement) Don't Waste Your Breath - Matthew 7:6 Treat Others as You Would Like to be Treated - Matthew 7:12 Enter Eternity Through the Narrow Gate - Matthew 7:13-14 Be Wary of False Prophets - Matthew 7:15–16 Ask God to Send More Workers - Matthew 9:37–38 Don't Fear Those Who Can Kill You, Fear God - Matthew 10:28 Come to Jesus for Rest - Matthew 11:28 Forgive Readily and Repeatedly - Matthew 18:21–22 Give What is Due to Whom it is Due - Matthew 22:21 Love God - Matthew 22:37–38 Love your Neighbor - Matthew 22:39 Share in the Lord's Supper (Communion) - Matthew 26:26–27 Keep Guard Against Temptation - Matthew 26:41 Make Disciples - Matthew 28:19-20 Preach the Gospel - Mark 16:15 Don'r be Greedy - Luke 12:15 Give to Those Who Cannot Give Back - Luke 14:12–14 Love Other Disciples - John 13:34 John 15:12 John 15:17 Suggested followup: If you consider yourself a disciple of the Christ, think about how you are doing, measured by the above list
  3. Matthew 24:12 - "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold." Satan wanats you to become the termperature of the culture that surrounds you, a believer bound by a stone cold heart. By exposure to hardness and darkness in the times that we live in, our love and passion wil begin to cool by degrees. When you see churches and individuals who do not have the energy to reach-out, it's an indication that their love has grown cold. In Numbers 16:37, the Lord told moses to "scatter the burning coals abroad."This is precisely what the great commission is al about -- spreading the Word with a fiery heart. Affirmations: I REFUSE TO STAY IN A NORMAL MODE; I'M NOT GOING TO LET THE WORLDS CULTURAL WISDOM SQUEEZE ME INTO ITS MOLD. THE WORLD'S POLITICALLY CORRECT AGENDA CAN'T DICTATE TO ME ANYMORE. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: 1. What am I doing to stoke the fire of my love and passion for advancing the Great Commission? 2. What is my passion? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. Revelation 4:1,2 -- "After these things, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, "come up here, and I will show you what must take place after theses things. "Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne." A sign in front of a church said "We Are Just A Waiting Room For Heaven." That is not what we are called to be. We are called to be a Gateway to heaven through which people can enter into and begin to experience heaven now! Every time we ascend we will descend with a blessing for the earth. The blessing we come back with is a piece of heaven -- evidence of it's existence. The way we do this is the "Way", Jesus. As we ascend by the progressive revelation of who He is, we will see more glory, and we will carry that glory with us. QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF: What do I do to ascend into heaven? What piece of heaven am I descending with as I bring back a blessing to earth? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. The Lord wants to use us, because He said: "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." - Luke 10:19 If Jesus wants to talk today, He's going to have to use your mouth. If He wants to rebuke a storm today, He's going to have to use your mouth, and He's going to have to use your heart in faith. Who has this power, and what kind of power is it? We have it, and it's power to heal sicknesses and cast out devils. EXERCISING LIMITLESS POWER Our power is without limitation down here, because Jesus said, "All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in Earth" (Matthew 28:18). That means all power belongs to whom? Jesus. And to whom did He give it? To us. It belongs to us! When the disciples woke Jesus up, they complained, "Don't You care that we're dying?" Have you ever tried to put a guilt trip on God in your prayers? "Don't You care what I'm going through?" We think we're going to get a response from God. "Don't You care that we're dying?" The disciples didn't get any sympathy. Instead, Jesus rebuked the wind and said to the water,"Peace, be still" - (see Mark 4). Jesus was a man anointed by the Holy Spirit, so He did not talk to the Sea of Galilee as God. People think, "God can talk to the sea," but that's not what Jesus did. He talked to that body of water as a man. As a matter of fact, who has authority over the elements here on Earth? Man through God does. A REMNANT WILL LEAD And there will be a remnant in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ who will be strong and will take the headship of our authority upon Earth. The Bible says, "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises..." - (2 Peter 1:4). What are they? The verse continues, "that by these ye might be partakers [or associates] of the divine nature..." The original Greek says, "partners with God in His divine nature." This gives us partnership with God. When we feed on God's Word, it is spirit and life to us.Nothing the devil can do will stop us from reaching the place where we're going in God – nothing, nothing, nothing! Can you call the things which be not as though they were? If you merely think about it, without speaking to it -- it won't happen. You can't rebuke the storm silently. Some will argue, "Well, I don't want to say, 'Peace, be still,' and nothing happens." You're already in fear. You've got to learn to speak out of your inward convictions. You've got to learn to believe in your DESTINY! Living a miraculous Christian life puts you in a realm where things work out. Does that mean we won't encounter persecution? No. Does that mean we won't have obstacles? Absolutely not. We will have them. But through the obstacles, we'll be victorious, and you'll laugh at the obstacles. REPEAT THE FOLLOWING CONFESSIONS: "I am going all the way. I'm not going to die prematurely. I'm not going to die sick. I'm not going to live in poverty. I'm going to fulfill my DESTINY IN CHRIST. I believe in my God-given future." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
