When Adam named the animals,who were created on the same day as he was.there were only a few kinds,as they had not yet increased and multiplied.What intrigues me is were dinosaurs and primates in the queue - if they were then they coexisted in harmony with humans as herbivores as stated in the Bible.and humans then did not evolve from Primates. If,however,they were not in the queue,then humans existed before dinosaurs and Primates and monkeys probably devolved from humans.I have just sunk evolution and it is no good appealing to the geological column since it only exists in text books or to the sedimentary rocks for fossil proof. The update is the bottom layers are more recent than the top layers.So again the Bible is right again and how could it be otherwise - jimc

You have really not accomplished anything other than to speculate about devolution. Don't understand the point about the layers

I understand the basic concepts of both, and I don't even get the point. Monkeys "devolving from humans"? Come on....

Here is something interesting to think about...

The fallen Angels who mated with the women of the earth begot giants who terrorized humanity according to Genesis. Now suppose these same fallen angels had done "something" with the beasts of the field as well? I'm not suggesting mating because that's just gross.. but we do know that the spiritual world is much more powerful than the physical world. So suppose the angels ran amok for a while interfering with God's creation.. what then? Could this explain dinosaurs?

Also, we know that it is also mentioned in the Bible that God has placed in captivity these fallen angels who once mated with the women of the earth. So perhaps when God put these angels in chains, He destroyed/killed these giant beasts Himself.. just as the Isrealites killed the descendants of Amalek and other half bred nations when they entered the Holy Land given to them by God?

Lots of speculation but it seems to be a fitting answer to a lot of things. Especially since I never understood why God would have His children (the Israelites) kill the descendants of Adam/Noah who occupied that land? Just a thought..

Blien -who said anything about fallen Angels mating with women of the earth.Fossils seem to indicate that everything was huge once but has progressively got smaller- this is known as entropy.Have you not noticed that we grow and grow and suddenly stop growing.So in a life span of 80years we stop growing say half way at 40.Adam and others lived hundreds of years - more later - jimc
