In case you were wondering... Before the interview, they mention the photos released of her modeling lingerie, which were released after they recorded the interview. They had asked Carrie about this, and her response that was relayed was that she was 17 when she posed for these, she regrets them, and she will never do it again. I do not like beauty pageants at all.. I went to one over the weekend where 5 little girls compteted and 4 were adorable little girls and one was a plastic kid with a plastic face and a wierd un-natural walk..you will never guess who won all the awards.. nope ...don't like them...they are false and teach our children to be false... My husband on the issue .."I could not care less.." But she is also a sister in the Lord that is being attacked because of her Christian stance on Homosexual marraige no matter what excuse they come up with... I did not know about Anita Bryant until the other day.. nope.. never been much up to date on celebrities... It wouldn't be fair to take away her crown for the same things other girls have done without consequences. I think this is still all about her stand on gay marriage. That being said, Carrie Prejean is just as fake (breast aumentation, bleached hair, etc.) as all the rest of them and the semi-nude photos hardly depict a Christian woman. Guest LadyC Posted May 11, 2009 Share Posted May 11, 2009 i don't think she'll lose her crown over that, if trump has the final say on it. it would be a double standard, given that they gave approval to miss rhode island to do a full frontal topless shot with her arms positioned in such a manner that it covered only her nipples, for the cover of maxim magazine. carrie's was topless as well, but she was photographed from her back, looking over her shoulder, with her arms positioned in a way that prevented anyone from seeing her breast. not a wise thing for a christian to have done, but in the modeling world you pretty much do what you're told by the photographer. and she's repented now. however, i do think they'll find another excuse to take her crown... she's made many TV appearances in defense of marriage since the pageant, and those probably violate the terms of her contract in one way or another... either because she would have lacked necessary authorization from the pageant directors, or because she went on TV as an ambassador for Jesus Christ instead of as a representative of california.
