Sleep paralysis

I have had sleep paralysis , and from my own experience it is because i am in a place in between awake and asleep.

The reason for the paralysis is because we seem close enough to awake that we try to use our physical bodies and find that they dont work like they should . I had one the other night where i was trying to yell but i couldnt .

have you ever heard of a night mare.

Mare is actually a spirit. And many people go through a lot of needless fear and sometimes pain at night because they dont know how to do spiritual warfare.

It is not normal for Christians to have night mares but because of our society and all of its influences many people will open themselves up to attack.

Through what we fill ourselves up with or even generational curses..

If you are a christian and have this problem it can be fixed it may not even be anything you did but rather something that happened in your family tree.

Good news there is freedom in Christ , you can have those generational curses broken off.

I always thought dreams were simply subconscious ramblings that are unleashed because our inhibitions are down while we're sleeping.

I have had that. Not lately but there is nothing uncommon about it. When you feel like you can't move yourself in your dream. It happens often when you either have a lucid dream or you dream that you woke up. It's kind of weird. But yeah sometimes when you are dreaming about something and stuff doesn't add up (in most dreams stuff doesnt add up but we usually dont realize it), like if you dream about a dead relative and you are talking to him, once in a while you have the presence of mind to realize...."hey this is not right, this person is passed on, i must be dreaming." Which is kind of freaky because you know you are dreaming but you are still there in the dream which is not real. And sometimes its like you try to react or escape somehow and you are just like jello. Sometimes in those dreams, if you have them, you will experience a paralysis. And sometimes it happens when you dream that you woke up. That's a weird experience too.

Dreams can be that , however manytimes God will speak to people in dreams > to many times people just disreguard them . Not to say that all dream are from God

there are 3 kinds God dreams man dreams and evil dreams.

i have had dreams inside of dreams thats wild . i like flying too way cool. the more i am aware of my dreams the more i have been used i have had many nights where i prayed or praised and worshiped all night long i love that.

I've had those sleep paralysis dreams you mentioned . . . and everytime I do I likewise sense the demonic presences. Odd thing is, it's when I try to start rebuking the demons that I all of a sudden can't move. Actually, it begins with me not being able to talk - beyond getting out vowel sounds.

I try to say, "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus!"

But all I can barely get out is, "i---eee----ooo----ooo----ih----ah---ayy----aaa----eee----uh"

How do you manage to engage in spiritual warfare? I'm completely stuck!

I dont think its an evil presence so much you feel but the fear of not being able to move. If you say "move", you will. I think its like Abbershay said being caught between awake and asleep. Somehow your dream you and your real body feelings get intertwined or something. Or you lose control over the body in your dream. It's freaky, but nothing to be alarmed about.

The demons come first.

Then I can't move.

I've gotten to the point where I'm more annoyed than I am afraid.

pray for protection before you go to sleep is a great thing to do. and ask Your Father in heaven to come to you and not let anything not of him near you.

I think what really helped me was listening to the bible on tape everynight while i slept. Or playing worship music all night while i sleep it doesnt even have to be loud.

The main thing though is to ask Father to give you these things , you obviously have a gift to do it . And if i do become afraid ,i pray without mouthing it .

Just the other night i felt a real fear try to make ne afraid and i prayed in my mind coveriong myself with the blood and asking him to send his angels round about me and i went back into peace.

Jer 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. ASK

OK, I'll work on that.

Problem is, these attacks are so sporadic and spaced out by months to up to a couple years. I can't make preparations for an attack when it could come either tomorrow or not until another year or more.
