Its like we are supposed to like her singing because she isn't very handsome? Her low register is barely audible, she is frequently hitting bad notes, and she starts off horribly in her semi-final song (although she nailed it at the end). Its like Britain just discovered that unattractive people can sing...sort of. I'm not sure if this should bother me...or if I should move there and try to become a superstar...lol. I absolutely agree. She does have a marvellous voice, but it needs alot more training, and you are quite right, in the semi-final when she started it was off-key and the words were swallowed, but she did come good by the end. I think there is an untapped je ne sais quoi quality to her voice, but I can't see her winning the finals...although she is probably very marketable, and the cash register eyes of Simon Cowell have been levelled in her direction. She is extremely average as a singer but we feel better about ourselves knowing that an old ugly woman can get a shot at 15 minutes of fame. I'm the Susan Boyle of Worthy Boards.
