Mary's appearence at fatima

Just curious about all the appearances of Mary. Fatima isn't that mohamad's wife name?Why would Mary appear in a a town with that name?Why a shiite, aren't the young girls she appeared to shiites?

The Vatican and Fatima.

The connecting link between the Vatican and Islam is Fatima. Mohammad's only surviving daughter was called FATIMAH. In the Koran, she is called the most holy woman in paradise next to the Virgin Mary. When the Moslem armies occupied Portugal, they named a little town there after her.

I just did a search for Fatima and Mohammad.

I knew there was a link between these two religions but this is some really weird reading.

she's DEAD!!! and since scripture tells us not to communicate with the dead, i would think mary, the mother of Jesus, would not attempt to communicate with us.

The question in reference to Mary was to try and understand about all the issues of people going to Fatima to be healed etc..I know very little about this I am trying to understand. Why the church has put her everywhere? How Mary relates to the Bible?

the people who go to see her are decieved by satan. the only church i know of that displays her prominantly is the catholic church. most christians regard her simply as the bible intended... as the mother of Jesus, a woman who also needed a savior, and who is now dead.

I've been studying this out for a while.

A while back the Pope went and prayed with the Muslims, kissed the Koran, says we are all descendants of Abraham and blah blah blah.

Now, the Muslims believe that Mary was a virgin and bore Jesus, they teach that Jesus was a great prophet, just not the Son of God, since they say God does not have a Son.

They regard Mary very highly and are now praying to her and we have a sect of the Catholic church teaching that Mary is co-redeemer.

So, it ties the RCC in with Islaam.

I have said for a while that I believe the AC will be Muslim and the Pope the false prophet. I'm not dogmatic about it, yet, but everything is pointing towards that.

The RCC is powerful, Islaam the fastest religion in the world, sounds like a great duo to rule the world to me.

By the way, the aparitions of Mary are simple the devil in disguise. I'm sure most of you know that.

I don't think it was "fake", exactly. Many people truly believe in this stuff. I do believe they are misguided, of course. This is a sign of a weak faith, if you're expecting to be fed a regular diet of miracles.
