Remember, God does not give out a reward just to take it back. If one is to consider the multitude no man can count as being those that were taken in the rapture then these are to meet Jesus in the air - When Jesus comes to rule... these people come with him also - meaning they are still with Jesus, but no longer in the air. So... unless this first death can take place AFTER Armageddon... there is certainly errors in this thought.

Concerning Moses.. I agree with you on that, but for other reasons others do not agree and it is for that reason I included him.   Moreover, the Two Witnesses are Gentiles,,, they are humans born of this time. They are proof that Christian Gentiles are grafted unto the vine of the Jews. Their Gentile heritage is the reason the Jews will deny them. They are not of the 7 candlesticks and stand along side the Throne of Jesus - unlike the 7 who have their position together. Please do not consider them as "greater prophets than those of old - for they do not. Do not consider them as even near "perfect" for they know that is not true and can only aspire to live up to some of the righteousness of the prophets of old, knowing full well they only succeed because of the Grace of their Lord - Jesus and their strength is encouraged due to the strength of the previous actions of the ancient prophets, and they know this and accept it completely and thankfully. These two witnesses have an advantage over the prophets of old... and that advantage is the written Word of God concerning these ancient prophets and their righteous acts. I admit some difficulties with this. Namely that they will prophecy 1260 days, which is similar to prophecis spoken of in other parts of the bible but thought to be speaking of years. We know a thousand years is but a day to the LORD, but does this mean we should translate days to years? Some reasons that it be two men is, v5 that they can be harmed, but fire will come from their mouths if any one tries? v6 They have the power to stop the rain such as Elijah had. v7+8They have bodies and will be put to death Some believe the two witnesses to be the Bible and the Church or other variations, any scholars care to elaborate Some believe it to be Moses and Elijah because they appeared with Jesus at the transfiguration. I contend this as Moses has already died once but Enoch and Elijah have not. that sounds logical
