Now as for actual numbers of Jews coming to Christ, scripture say, and it is born out by the FACTS, God has always kept a "remnant" and continues to do so today. Of the 16 million Jews now on the planet, less that 1% of them are Messianic. Israel which has either 5.4 or 6.2 million Jews has perhaps a 1-2% ratio according to our board owner George. This is certainly ONLY a remnant.

Interesting statistics. I was recently listening to a Jewish Pastor from Poland who talked about how many Jews before the second world war had come to a place of faith in Yeshua as their Messiah...so much so that it is estimated that 1,000,000 of the 6,000,000 Jews exterminated in the death camps were born-again Jewish Believers...and who knows how many lives they touched in their last moments amongst their brethren. He went on to point out that many Jews asked where was G-d when all this suffering was going on...and he would turn to Daniel and point out that in the fire that threatened to consume Daniels three companions there was a fourth person...the L-rd was in their midst.

I believe that even now there are a great many more Jewish Believers than we realize...expecially amongst the Orthodox...but the L-rd knows.

May the Lord bless you for your kindness, Dad Ernie and Trinity and Botz.

Yeah botz, they don't walk around with big signs on that say "Ask me about Jesus" in Israel

I have heard some fantastic tales of dreams and visions given to the Orthodox that are hard to believe if one thinks miracles have ceased.

I met a Cohen in Washington State who studied in the yeshiva in the Rabbi's tunnel by the Kotel (wailing wall) and one night he asked the teacher about Jesus. He tells me that the teacher said, "Let's ask God" and prayed before the class for God to tell them whether Jesus is the Messiah or not.

He said they all heard an audible voice say "yes". That is how he became a believer.

Greetings Yod,

He said they all heard an audible voice say "yes". That is how he became a believer.

If that is true, and I have no reason to think it is not, then I just praise God for it. It really excites me to hear news of this sort, and I believe that in the "time of trouble, even in the latter days", we shall hear more and more of these stories. It excites me because of:

Romans 11:12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

Romans 11:15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

This will be an absolutely amazing time when God shall inhabit the praises of His people FULLY as was at Pentecost.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

Yod...that is great!

These stories are quite common place I hear them all the time..many times from those directly involved with ministry amongst the Jews.

I told the story before but it is worth repeating...I know of an Orthodox synagogue in Europe where every single member became a Believer in Yeshua except the Rabbi...and they said to him 'either you believe in Yeshua or you are no longer our Rabbi.'...I will find out next month whether he believed or not .

Many ministries in Europe run by Jewish Believers work predominantly amongst the Orthodox and they are seeing many many Jewish people reach out to the King of Kings and L-rd of L-rds...their Messiah. They continue to treasure their heritage and their Jewishness but now they have liberty through the blood of Yeshua.

John 8:36  If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.

Rabbi Eric Carlson from Newport News VA told me a fantastic story last month.

In late June, he went to Omsk Siberia to speak in a few churches. One church was promoting the fact that a messianic jew would be speaking and the local Chabad rabbi showed up.

as Eric preached, he kept noticing the sour look on this orthodox rabbi's face....but when their dance team got up the guy thawed out and actually started tapping his toes.

After the meeting, this orthodox rabbi asked Eric to come and answer a few questions for the orthodox community...which he did the following day.

They asked him mostly about the cultural things like...do you do bar mitzvahs? Have a Torah? Recite the Shma? Sing in hebrew?

When he had answered "yes" to every question the orthodox had, they were dumbfounded. So they asked him what made his messianic congregation different than theirs.

This opened the door for Eric to preach Yeshua from the Tenach. He began showing them Isaiah 53, Psalm 2, Psalm 22, Daniel 9, etc, etc, etc....

They talked for a while and he left.

A week later, as he was having lunch at the Messiah conference he got a phone call from this rabbi. They had studied the scriptures he gave them and decided that Yeshua was the Messiah. The ENTIRE SYNAGOGUE gave their life to Yeshua.

Hallelujah!!!

They are begging him to come back. I hope to go with him next summer.

Awesome I love it...and if G-d opens the doors for you to go there that would be such a privilege...I hope to eventually go to the Ukraine and meet some of these Orthodox Jews who have believed...and who knows I might even be invited to preach which would be great joy. Much of the time I feel pretty humble when I am faced with the stories of unbelievable hardship that so many people go through out there...we just don't understand that we are rich beyond measure compared to what little they survive on. May HaShem provide all their needs.Amein.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
