Am I experiencing spiritual warfare?

Its amazing how many people have experienced this!

When I was first attacked, I couldn't imagine that any one else had experienced this level of demonic attacks. But like you ve said, spending time in the WORD really helps. The devil would attack my whole household with fear. I knew I was the key target. And not just fear that something was wrong or anything. NO! There would just be so much fear presence that I would jump at the drop of spoon. My son would cry whenever the front door was opened. I got so sick I considered resignining from my job.

One day I spent a lot of time here reading these articles and by the time I was through, I felt so much better.

I have also increased my Bible reading time. I was prayed for so many times but nothing happened. But God kept encouraging me that He would be with me and nothing would go wrong. Jesus is the conqueror; the devil is the defeated one! PRAISE BE TO GOD!

Now I am preparing myself for more things in my life; new (better) job, house etc. And I know that the Lion of Judah has conquered in my life! Daily, I am getting stronger; I am leaving the devil and his tricks far in the dust!!!!!!!

Kinda rude... but anyway. I became a believer at a very young age. I established my own personal relationship with Christ. When I say things like I was born and raised in church I am implying that I was also a Christian during that time otherwise I would have left that part out completely.

is the WRONG time to learn that they are NOT oK.

Catholicism can claim a BILLION members, ONLY because they water new-borns and consider them 'christian'.

Some advise:

Anoint your home and proclaim your home to the Lord. Proclaim your home for a place of peace and rest. Since you don't know who lived there before, then tell all the foul spirits to leave when you anoint your home. Anoint over every doorpost that leads into your home. Satan's favorite tactic is fear.

Second, I bind all curses that have been spoken against you. Bless those who curse me, and pray blessings on those who despitefully use me. Bind all spoken judgments made against you and judgments you have made against others. Bind the power of negative words from others, and bind and render useless all prayers not inspired by the Holy Spirit; whether psychic, soul force, witchcraft or counterfeit tongues that have been prayed against you.

Pray protection prayers before you go to bed and when you get up. I sometimes even anoint myself and proclaim that I will have spiritual dreams from the Lord.

"Father God, please send your Holy Angels to stand guard over me today (tonight). I pray that they will minister to me and remind me of your healing power. Lord please keep me safe from the evil one and strengthen me against all temptations that may come my way. Thank You Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen." (based on Psalm 91)

"Lord God, please surround me with favor as with a shield today. Lord, please strengthen the your wall of protection around me, keeping me safe from temptation of the flesh, tricks of the Adversary, and all harm. Lord, please fill my thoughts with Your thoughts and let my words be your words. You are my strength, my shield and my defense, O Lord. Thank You, Lord, in Jesus name I pray, Amen." (based on Psalm 5:12 & Psalm 7:10)

We have found that reciting Psalm 91 as a prayer prior to going to bed each night has helped in establishing God's protective hedge over our homes and families.

The Blood of Jesus Christ is a powerful weapon for protection from the enemy's attacks. You can visit our page about the Blood of Christ for more info about it. The following prayer is a good one to pray before starting the day:

"Lord, I cover myself and everyone around me with the blood of Jesus. I cover all of the members of my family (call them by name) with the blood of Jesus. I cover my home, my land, my car, my finances, my marriage, my ministry, with the blood of Jesus. In the Name of Jesus Christ, by the power of His blood, I break off every power of the kingdom of darkness and cancel every argument in heaven that has established itself against the plans of God in my life and spoil every attack of the enemy. I call forth, in the name of Jesus, all of God's plans and purposes for my life, and my family. As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. Satan, the blood of Jesus is against you and you have no authority over my life. NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME (OR MY FAMILY) SHALL PROSPER!" (borrowed from Benny Hinn Ministries)

Asking God to move against satan and other evil forces: When praying against the activities of evil, take care to pray for the salvation of any people that are being used by the enemy.

"Father God, I ask that You will send Your forces out to drive back the enemies of Christ that are working in this situation. Your Word says that the adversaries of the Lord shall be broken in pieces; from heaven He will thunder against them. Lord, I pray that you would break your enemies in pieces in Your perfect timing, and bring salvation, restoration and healing to all people who are involved." (Based on 1 Samuel 2:10)

"To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in You; let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me. Consider my enemies, for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred. Keep my soul, and deliver me; let me not be ashamed for I put my trust in You. In Jesus Christ, Amen" (based on Psalm 25:1-2, 19-20 NKJV)

"Plead my cause, O Lord, with those who strive with me; fight against those who fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help. Also draw out the spear and stop those who pursue me. Say to my soul, "I am your salvation." Let those be put to shame and brought to dishonor who seek after my life; let those be turned back and brought to confusion who plot my hurt. I pray that the financial support of these evildoers will erode away as long as they do evil in Your sight. I pray that You will turn their hearts to Yourself and draw them unto Your salvation in Jesus Christ. Thank You Father. In Jesus Christ, Amen"

"Heavenly Father, I ask that you would unmask the enemy's deception over these people who are rebelling against you in doing this evil. Lord God, please stretch out Your mighty hand against their schemes and thwart their every move. Please draw each of them to salvation in Jesus Christ. Thank You Father. In Jesus Christ, Amen"

Just be sure that you don't go beyond what is written.

Much of "Satan's tactics" are just the imaginations of the flesh.

Pride is what elevates the battle within our own selves to the level of Satan. The Scriptures deal extensively with crucifying our old selves and very little with demons. There is a reason for that.

Your housemate may not take the content of these books, games, tapes seriously--but then, how seriously do he take God and what God says in His word?

God clearly tells us to avoid the occult--not have anything to do with it.

When you think about it--where do these entities first come in? In thoughts and ideas. Also, though we are under God's protection, God will not stop us from inviting in the demonic: i.e., possess New Age material, watch porn movies (or even just shows with put-downs and a laugh track--a very successful attempt to make PAIN funny), Ouiji boards, etc.

So the material in the house you live in is an open invitation for demons to come in. That may sound strong. If so, I recommend to you the book on spiritual warfare that is my source, THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT: Understanding The Principles That Govern The Spiritual Battles In Our Lives. Authors: Charles H. Kraft and David M. DeBord. Publisher: Wagner Publications, 11005 N. Highway 83, Colorado Springs, Co 80921 (www.wagnerpublications.org).

To quote/paraphrase from the book: "Demons enter a person typically in one of four ways. They come in generationally through a person's bloodlines (see Observation 2.5). They can enter by invitation of the person, as in the case of occultic or satanic cult involvement (see Observation 2.6)."... p.111

Going back to Observation 2.6 and quoting from it: "...Others are seduced into darkness because they were told that the rituals they were performing and the vows they were making were merely "fun and games" (e.t., the blood oaths men take upon entering the Masonic Order). They were not, however, told that Satan takes these oaths very seriously and these oaths give demons the right to inhabit thos who make the oaths." p.49

Another author, Frank Peretti, uses fiction very well to illustrate the spiritual warfare that is taking place through the media, schools, judges, etc. in modern-day America.

The best I can sugest is to provide some christian knowlege from studying the book!

Ther are five sacraments the main two are Baptiphacation and then confirmation with the laying on of hands by the priest or bishop.

When you get baptised the holy spirit will be bistowed into you and this represent becoming a disiple and following the the death of Jesus (Death can be hard rigt!)

The next step is confirmation which seals you into the holy spirit and allows you to be adopted into the family of God!. This in my prophetic understanding (gifted by the holy spirit) Allows you to follow in the rezzurection of Jesus and to be given a new heavenly body, and the to feed from Jesus as he feeds from the Father.

The next stage is to recieve holy communion in church and you will recieve gifts of the holy spirit.

Church is where to pray and the rigthous way to pray is thus,

Our Father who art in heaven (Addressing the heavenly father)

Hallowed be thy name (worshipping his glory)

thy kingdom come

thy will be done on

earth as it is in heaven (Gods will is for good and earth will be a heaven)

Give us this day our daily bread (god may you feed me so i don't eat that

which is death? There is a spiritual body

and stomatch)

Forgive us of our trespasses as

we forgive thoughs that

trespass against us (you have to forgive others for god to forgive

you)

lead us not into temptation

but deliver us from evil (lead us through the narrow door not the wide)
