I am just wondering if he has more of a Muslim foundation than Christian. Yes, he was muslim (or is, I think he's still living.) I read that Obama's mother sent him back to Hawaii because she didn't want him raised with any religion. Ann Dunham was an atheist. His father died when President Obama was twenty-one. Yes, if memory serves, he lived with his grandparents from the age of 10 until college. So the Mum sends Obama to Hawaii (classified as Christian) to get him away from Islamic Indonesia...for the purpose of being non religious.... I don't get it....... irishcowboy Posted October 10, 2009 Group: Royal Member Followers: 1 Topic Count: 127 Topics Per Day: 0.03 Content Count: 3,248 Content Per Day: 0.88 Reputation: 13 Days Won: 0 Joined: 03/23/2014 Status: Offline Share Posted October 10, 2009 sentiments are really heating up at this point in time.. for example, the other night I was waiting for a program to start but the station was playing a song while waiting - never heard of it before but it was by the British singer called Robbie Williams and in the song, one of the lines went as such..."Jesus didn't die for me..." then a little later...something about wanting(the singer) to be perfect........hmmm THEN last night a TV advertisement selling wine/champagne...and showed a woman out partying, going wild etc...then ending with the same woman being baptised looking at the camera with the words on the screen.."Lead a double life"..... ...yes... well...... unfortunatly that is what most....many people that claim to be Christian are doing...... leading a double life...... as I said, unfortunatly, this can not be done with any success...... one that has two masters...... **************story time*************** a man dies and his next conscience moment he is standing in a field, with tall fences on either side. there are people in the fields on either side of him..... pretty soon, he hears a bunch of cheering and shouting, and he looks in the field on his right and there is Jesus, escorting his children into eternity.... he feels good inside, thinking this is the best place he has ever been so far..... just thinking about Jesus..... then he hears a noise on his left, and it was a very scary, frightening, horrible sound of people screaming and yelling and cursing, he looks and there is satan and his demons cracking whips and driving those people into eternity...... he shutters to think of how horrible that would be...... then he feels a tap on his shoulder, he turns and it is satan with his chains...... the man says, no, I have been a good person, and I did not worship you or do anything bad.... then satan replys, sorry, but you did not worship and follow Jesus on earth, so you have become mine........ ****************************************** A house divided can not stand..... living a life of pleasure to the flesh is one god, living a life in the Spirit for Jesus, is another placing God First, Last and Foremost on ones life...........
