These are "weeks" or more accurately, sevens of years; seventy weeks of seven years each. Within these "weeks" the national chastisement must be ended and the nation re- established in everlasting righteousness (Daniel 9:24 The seventy weeks are divided into seven == 49 years; sixty-two = 434 years; one = 7 years (vs. 25-27). In the seven weeks == 49 years, Jerusalem was to be rebuilt in "troublous times." This was fulfilled, as Ezra and Nehemiah record. Sixty-two weeks == 434 years, thereafter Messiah was to come (Daniel 9:25This was fulfilled in the birth and manifestation of Christ. Daniel 9:26 26 is obviously an indeterminate period. The date of the crucifixion is not fixed. It is only said to be "after" the threescore and two weeks. It is the first event in Daniel 9:26 The second event is the destruction of the city, fulfilled A.D. 70. Then, "unto the end," a period not fixed, but which has already lasted nearly 2000 years. To Daniel was revealed only that wars and desolations should continue (cf. Matthew 24:6-14 The N.T. reveals, that which was hidden from the O.T. prophets ; Matthew 13:11-17 Ephesians 3:1-10

I'll just say one finall thing regarding the time table and that is.

How can you spiritualize the last of the 70 weeks and cast it off into the future more than 2000 years and say that is accurate interpetation of the scripture, when if fits the time table of what Jesus Christ did at the cross.

Brad, the original hebrew or aramic, whichever it is was 7 - 7's, I believe, not seven weeks and it says after 69 weeks Messiah will be cut off.

I'm not understanding how you feel it fits into the cross, can you simplify that thought for me?

My 2 cents:

My understanding of the interval between the 69th week and the 70th week is that this is the time of the MYSTERY of the kingdom of God, the calling out of the church.  When the fullness of the Gentiles comes in, the 70th week will begin.

to restrict,to with hold------the prophecy at this point ends & implies that the price for sin,iniquity would be paid for----

the next words"and to bring in everlasting righteousness,and to seal up the vision and prophecy,and to anoint the most

HOLY-----these last three things have not happened yet.....everlasting righteousness does not exist on earth yet,there are still sin & sinners committing sin.......ALL the visions have not been fulfilled yet---And the anointing of the most HOLY has not happened yet...the temple has not been rebuilt yet,the animal sacrifices are not ongoing at this time...

do you think that JESUS-YESHUA-as the high priest is offering animal sacrifices in heaven right now??.??uhhhhhh brad----read what you just posted bro.7 weeks & 62 weeks are 69 weeks---where is the 70/th week?? the ONE thing you do have right IS;the great tribulation isNOT the WRATH of GOD

The Beast from the Sea

The Beast from the Sea and the Beast from the Land

1. Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.

2.Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.

This was the old Roman Empire before its fall around 395 AD.

3.And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.

This was when Cesar Constantine of the Roman Empire declared Roman a Christian state and stopped the persecution of Christians around 200 AD.

4.So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?"

5.And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.

This would be the Holy Roman Empire from 800 to 1806 AD. This Beast is during the Great Tribulation. This Beast does not have the number 666 mentioned, or the mark of the beast, or not being able to buy or sell mentioned during the Great Tribulation in Chapter 13. But in other texts it is said that whose who have come out of the Great Tribulation did not have the mark of the Beast.

The Great Tribulation was to last during the times that the scriptures mention 42 months, or times and time and half a time meaning three and a half years. Symbolically and year for every day of three and a half years = 1260 years

Okay right here is the time set for Israel to finish the ceremonial requirements and to make an end to sins be claiming righteousness in Christ. Seventy weeks are determined not sixty-nine and a half or six two weeks but all seventy weeks. One week represents seven years. The seventy weeks belong to the Messiah and Israel with the last week or seven years as a nation to begin a New Covenant. You cannot take the last week out and spiritualize it into the future and apply it to the little horn or the Beast. During this time the messiah was to be anointed as the Prince of

To bring in everlasting righteousness means the millineum, to seal up vision and prophecy hasn't happened, God told Daniel that he wouldn't know the things that were sealed until the end, then in Joel we are told that God will pour out His Spirit, and people will dream and prophesy, so that isn't done, we don't have it all figured out yet, prophesy is revealed as it happened, unlike we were taught in the SDA church, where they think that some prophet knew the future.  To Anoint the Most Holy, I don't know for sure what that is, it could be Jesus crowned King of Kings, not sure on that.

I love ya man, but I'm having a real hard time undestanding what you are saying, I can read it 5 times and still it doesn't make sense.  That usually is my indication that the Holy spirit is keeping me from considering it, the same thing happened to me while SDA, I went to tons of Revelation Seminars and retained NADA, I couldn't remember anything they said by the time I got to the car.  I made a D in Bible class one year.  I wasn't a D student-it was God.

I'm going to read the last post you made a gain.

I believe the fullness of the Gentiles is the rapture and after that these mysteries will be revealed. :il:

OK, Brad the last post you made would be the preterist view.  

If you are saying that it has all already happened, then when did one ruler rule the world and 2 witnesses lay in the streets where the whole world could see them (that is satelite TV) and when did they receive the Mark of the Beast? and half of the population die or 1/3, and the plagues and so on......
