OK....

I guess I'm not getting through....so let me put it in the form of a question.

In the opinion of the Board....is it "possible" that the TIMES of the Gentiles and the FULLNESS of the Gentiles are not the same thing?

My opinion is that they are not.

Hi yod,

I didn't mean to throw you a curve there. Times of Gentiles fulfilled and fullness of Gentiles, I believe they mean the same thing. But maybe I shouldn't have made the switch?

Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter if we go our separate ways here. We're gonna find out for certain soon enough. Nice chattin' with ya!!

Brethren,

Quote Yod,

And I think you are correct....because that is probably all that will get them to cry out;

Yes as Paul has stated. We can only provoke some of them to jealuosy. G-d has hardened their heart and a veil covers their eyes so they can only partially see. :D

When will they see Him? When He comes in glory and then they mourn over Him they pierced as an only son.

Revelation 3 states

paraphrasing

All eyes will see Him coming in Glory even those who pierced Him.

He told the Jews of His time "I go away and where I go you cannot, You will not see me again until you say Holy is He who comes in the name of the Lord."

We in the body can go where He is every day any time we want.(Spiritually)

GBU Saints,

Good discussion! :D

Peace :il: Amen

However, I think your view is a little skewed as well according to your own biasness.

Biasness? Is that a word? :D

Bias? What bias? We don't have no bias........We don't need to show you any stinkin' bias! [blazing Saddles]

In the first of January of 1990 I was a devout atheist out to prove the Bible and christianity was a farce. By the end of the month I was a born again spirit filled on fire goy in a messianic congregation where I continued for 6 years [while still visiting many churches of all denominations to fellowship with the larger body]

After that I joined a local non-denominational church to put down roots in my community. I was there another 6 years. I am currently back in a small messianic congregation because they needed my help with the worship team.

My bias is for the body and for truth. I move with total liberty in either "way"

I have seen some Messianic Jewish papers/magazines which list Gentile Messianic churches as "Messianic Jewish Congregations", either out of ignorance or out of trying to make their numbers look larger than they really are.

Since there is only one Messianic magazine [The Messianic Times out of Canada] I assume that is where you get your information???

First of all, it is true that the average messianic congregation is somewhere between 50-70 people. Because they are so small they will usually share a church building because they meet on Saturday when the regular church meets on Sunday. This might be the reason you got that impression. I also know that where there are large messianic congregations, there are small churches who share their buildings also.

Secondly, it costs money to be listed in the Messianic Times and I know of 5 congregations in the Dallas area alone who are not listed because of the price.

I will keep your post though, for reference purposes and will do some additional study.

Thank you and God Bless,

Dad Ernie

Thanks Dad.....I find you just as stubborn as I am :D but humble enough to consider the facts. I like that very much about you. Keep on sharpening me...

Love,

yod

actually it comes from a Humphrey Bogart,Tim HOLT,Walter HOUSTON movie" the treasure of the sierra madre" for which Walter HUston won an academy Award & his son John Huston wrote & directed the movie & presented the oscar to his dad... "badges, badges,we ain't got no stinkin badges

we don't got to show you no stinkin badges"...the mexican actor who said those words { his first acting job} went on to appear in many, many movies..I forget his name just now but he was a very good "badman"......................{Gary}---- :upsided: :D:D

So you guys can have all the theological theories you want. Jerusalem is NOT controlled by anyone but Israel therefore the Times of the Gentiles have been fulfilled. This is that which was spoken of by Yeshua Himself in Luke 21.

Hi yod,

I would have to disagree here. You may have a lot more knowledge about Israel and Jerusalem, but as long as gentile believers are still being saved, the fullness of the Gentiles is not finished yet. Also, it is very easy to see that Israel is still temporarily blinded, and like the scriptures say, Jerusalem is, and will remain a stumblingblock to all who try to move that burdensome stone. It is still a cup of trembling, and I believe it will continue that way until the rapture and then again after the AC breaks his unholy covenant, then God will gather all nations round about for the battle of Armageddon. Blessings to you!!

OK....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
