I cant help but wince everytime I happen to stop on Impe's show. He's almost as bad as Paul and Tammy Fay Crouch.

Now, that's not fair. Nothing goes that far...not even close.

Jack and Rexella seem genuine and sincere and reach many people who might otherwise fall through the net.

I sense they are real Christians who truly love the Lord and Jack knows his scripture verses.

Each of us has a ministry ...each of us has his or her own place. Is it right for us to be critical of other people's ministries, especially if they are effective in drawing people to the Lord?

We each have our own way of accomplishing things but the goal is the same isn't it?

Hopefully, the goal is the same---to glorify God.  We still need to keep our swords(Bibles) close at hand though.  Even Hitler was sincere in his beliefs concerning deity.  May we all seek God's guiding hand in our lives, so we won't get in the wrong line.

What concerns me is the division within the Body. Satan knows how to scatter and divide the ranks...just as any enemy would attempt to do in a real war.

War tactics are the same...we have an intelligent advesary who knows just what our human weaknesses are and preys on them...the goal is to divide and conquer.

Look, there's some great  ministries out there that don't necesarily appeal to me.  Jack Van Impe's is highly effective and they do a good work. They typically give the gospel invitation at least once each broadcast and send free literature to new converts.

God uses different ministries to win different people. God has his people everywhere...in all walks of society.

I have made it almost a fulltime career defending our godly Christian president lately...

Hmmm...I believe Van Impe was the one who said that VISA really means "666" according to ancient Greek and Babylonian characters. Do you buy that (no pun intended)?

After looking on the web a bit today, I also see that he is a date setter.  He set 1998 as the year for the Lord's return.  Among his other strange theories, he also said that hell is in a black hole in space.
