Sometimes what we "think" is good may not necessarily be "good" in the eyes of God. So, would you say that ALL mistakes are sin; mistakes with right motives of course? To worry about if we are sinning in everything would take the joy out of serving Him, and cause us to serve not in love, but in fear. If we obey what we know is right, practice righteousness, we are of Him. That is what is important.

Doing something for ourselves and not for the glory of God through Christ and the Cross is a sin. Luckily, we're forgiven, though.

This is why Jesus came; we are weak and there's no way we could EVER be acceptable to God without the sacrifice of the Messiah. God provided us a way to Heaven; that shows how much He loves us. Guest HIS girl
You know it says in the Bible that Love covers a multitude of sins. Something to consider is when you do something, is it for selfish purposes? Are you considering someone else when you are doing the thing? If you treat others as you yourself would like to be treated, you side step many potholes - the motivation must be right though - genuine.
