Things that we do in His name, giving Him the glory. Of course, that's JMHO.

If God has you helping people, it is a work. If He has you praying for someone, it is a work. If He has you visiting the lonely, it is a work. In which case it would mean all the prescribed ritual washings, prayers, abstinence s, sacrifices, and etc. by the Law of Moses from the old covenant. --Or at least my understanding, of course not getting into the "war" of works=salvation controversy. That war sheds more of Christ's Blood than any. As witnessed by many posts.

I help people when the opportunity shows itself but I'm not flying to Haiti to rescue people. How do you know if you are doing enough to please God? I used to struggle with this one alot. What I have learned is this...the things the Lord wants you to do will be shown to you. I cannot fly to Haiti, there are others that are willing and wanting to do those kinds of things. I am more obliged to help in my community...with volunteering, or food bank donations. Every once in a while I come across someone who needs something that is a basic nessisity and I will give it. These good things would be loving Jesus through obedience to His word and the leadings of the Spirit.!
