Christian Tracts

I have used them for years, to aid in pointing both young and old people to the Lord Jesus Christ.

There is one that I have that I designed in part that the local printer prints for me. I also use "Chick Tracts" and "Living Waters" tracts, a few others from various sources when I pick them up at a Christian Book store.

In general, always in prayer asking the Lord to use them whenever and wherever I pass them out.

The ones I use the most are those "general" towards Salvation for the unbeliever.

I do have a number that I use though that are "specific" towards certain cults or sins. I do have to be discerning about these, I would not want to give a Mormon a tract about Jehovah's Witnesses, etc....

Along with English and Spanish, I keep a handful of different languages on hand.

Just a few stories I have that come to mind:

-A while back at a Chinese take out I had given a tract in Chinese to the woman at the cash register.

She said with a Chinese accent, "What that say?" I told her while looking at the Chinese language tract "One Way."

She then said: "How you know?" I said: "Because I have it at home in English." I may not convey the humor here well enough in words, but it was a humorous moment.

-At another instance, I had a man dressed like "jesus" standing outside of a Spencers gifts store, beckoning others to come into the store. I gave "jesus" a tract.

-When in crowded areas, I often pass them out to many that I pass by. One can get rid of 100 of them in no time at all this way. For those that would like to speak further, I am only to happy to stop and take the time to expound on the Savior.

-Put them where they can be found later, benches, tables, rest rooms, phone booths. While visiting the book store or library place tracts in Satanic bibles, Harry Potter books, New Age books, etc...

In Gideons Bibles wherever they are found, right around the John 3:16 page.

-Then there was the two teenage girls who after taking them crossed the street, and after briefly looking at them tore them up and burned them on the ground... Kept them in prayer for a bit

-As a contractor, I frequent a lot of building stores, hardware stores, etc. With so many open truck beds, I use the Ten Commandments coin toss to the back of trucks. The do kind of make a "ting da ding ding" sound though, but they remain in good shape in good or bad weather.

At one time, there was a man sleeping who popped up after hearing the coin in his truck bed, I did not know he was there. Looking at me wildly, I let him know he had a Ten Commandments coin in his truck bed, I let him know if I had known he was there I would have handed it to him personally and was on my way...

-I had one man tell me he was "Jesus", I made sure he got a tract as well!

-Children like the cartoon type. On Halloween, when passing out candy bars, we wrap a tract around the candy with a rubber band.

I could write a small book on the many opportunities the Lord has given me and my family over the years with these small portions of God's Word.
