I have had a total of 3 dreams in my lifetime regarding the end times. All 3 were very detailed and very scarey. I know that I'm not supposed to look into these dreams but I can't help but wonder about them. I have them all written down in detail but not available to me right now. I remember lots of things happening in the sky, people screaming and crying in fear, others singing and dancing. These were dreams that were not like my other dreams....VERY different. I still remember the two I had over 10 years ago (it was 2 consecutive nights). The last one I had was right before I gave my life to Christ last July. Do these dreams mean anything? What do you think God was trying to tell me?

Well, off hand the dreams may have been given to you to help bring you towards salvation.

Other than that, ask the Lord if He desires for you to do anything with those dreams for others.

Of course they mean something! God is giving you a message to get ready so you won't be left behind. And who is the one who told you your not supposed to look into these dreams? That person is greatly mistaken. Dreams are given so that you can share it with your friends and family to hear what God is saying to you or others.

If you can find your dreams why not share it with us and we can see what other meanings there are. The prophet Habbakuk was instructed to do exactly what you did. He was really terrified during a part of his life and asked God practically 1 chapter of questions then God came and answered Him. This is what He instructed him to do..

Habakkuk 2

God Answers the Prophet

I will stand on my guard post

And station myself on the rampart;

And I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me,

And how I may reply when I am reproved.

Then the LORD answered me and said,

"Record the vision

And inscribe it on tablets,

That the one who reads it may run.

"For the vision is yet for the appointed time;

It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail

Though it tarries, wait for it;

For it will certainly come, it will not delay.

"Behold, as for the proud one,

His soul is not right within him;

But the righteous will live by his faith.

And it goes on. So you did good in writing it down. Now, we probably will not have prophetic dreams or visions as the prophets of old but GOD does give us prophecy for the edification/building up of the church. That is all written about in 1 Corinthians 14.

1 Corinthians 14:24-30

24 But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an ungifted man enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all; 25 the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring that God is certainly among you. 26 What is the outcome then, brethren? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation Let all things be done for edification.

27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, it should be by two or at the most three, and each in turn, and one must interpret; 28 but if there is no interpreter, he must keep silent in the church; and let him speak to himself and to God. 29 Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others pass judgment. 30 But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, the first one must keep silent.

When I get time I will dig through my papers and try to find them. It's funny because I have never written down dreams other than these three. There was something very unique about them that compelled me to write them down. I never knew about Habbakuk. God is so mysterious! I'm just curious after all this time what they mean. I will definitely try to find them.

When thinking of dreams...I think of that guy...what's his name...Pharaoh? Was he the one that demanded his dreams be interpreted? His story made me think that (since he wasn't a nice man) seeking meanings of dreams was not something to look into.

I do think the message if it is from God has a lot to do in preparing me for the end days. This has been the primary focus of these dreams and nothing else. No other spiritual matter has ever entered my dreams. I hardly dream at all, or remember them for that matter. The first two scared me to death. The last one (in June/July) was different because I remember I wasn't scared that time. I wasn't scared in the dream. I was calm and other people were scared. This dream came to me at a time in my life when I was suicidal.

Yep, Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar both demanded interpretations to such things. :)

If I remember correctly, I think Nebuchadnezzar was the one who threatened to kill the "prophets" who could not interpret his dreams because they would be proven false and Daniel saved them all by telling him the meaning which God gave him.

Grace to you,

They will mean something in due time. You should review them.

I dreamt like this when I was child, very young, then again in my teens, and as a young adult.

I know they were from the Lord because they were the same dreams over and over again.

They do mean something now and when I think about them and the times we're living in I understand. Mine came prior to my Salvation too. :)

I had a similar dream as the one in which people were running and afraid, looking up to the sky, meanwhile some folks were rejoicing at the coming of our Lord.

Peace,

Dave

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
