Tis funny because millions of people all over the world are christian and believe evolution. By this reckoning does that mean if you believe in both your going to hell.

Say They See They See

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

1 Corinthians 3:18-21

I may be totally off track here and correct me if i'm wrong but are you saying if someone is wise in relation to how it all started (apart from God)then they are a fool or is it anyone who thinks they are wise on any subject is a fool.

If you don't believe in the Bible's truth about the creation of Adam and Eve, then you deny God and are lost. That simple. If you or some "science teacher" who claims to be saved don't understand that, then you are wasting your and our time here and will be marginalized as you should be.

God's Word and Christ's words tell us that if people refuse to hear the truth, that we are to leave them to their fate. Matthew 10:11-15 "Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. And when you go into a household, greet it. If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city! These verses apply to individuals just as well as cities and towns.

That applied to THAT situation. It is not a doctrine of personal evangelism. Jesus gave that command to his original disciples within the context of a particular mission. It was not a command given to the church to be observed for all time.

There may come a time when a particular line of communication must be abandoned due to a lack of fruit, but there is nothing in the New Testament that teaches us that we share the gospel for a season and then abandon unbelievers to their sin.

You cannot believe in both, it's kind of like believing in Islam and Christianity, can't be done. As to you going to hell, I am not God, and I cannot profess to even begin to understand His will for you, so I am not the judge, He is. All I can do for you, because I know Him, is to pray for you. Would you like me to do that for you?

Blessings

You are not abandoning them to their sin. You are turning them over to the Holy Spirit. Still, there are numerous instances when God ran out of patience with someone or a people and either left them to their own sin or destroyed them completely. Gods patience is not endless, nor should ours be. Someone has to say "enough is enough" and put an end to the teaching of false doctrine. For me, I feel that time is now with this individual on this topic and others like it and him. Therefore, this scripture, which I did give in context, does apply perfectly.

Right, i get what your saying. Now as an example i have a few friends here in ireland who are devoted catholics, really devout and all rounded people. Now they believe in evolution but as i said are very religious and live their lives according to the bible. Now catholicism advocates evolution saying it's all in god's plan so that's why i think they believe it. Now my question is are these people according to your understanding of the bible going to hell.

Good post joe i got ya that time. Now another question if you would indulge me as i would be unwise acocording to you. I have opened myself to god but have never felt his/her presence. I am not against the idea of god at all just that i have not felt what other people would feel. Does this still make me unwise or just lost. Sorry for the litany of questions.

It makes you neither, it simply means you are asking questions, and in my opinion that's a good thing, provided your motives for doing so are pure. For instance referring to God (note capital), as "his/her", also brings into question your sincerity. How can you open yourself up to God (note capitals), when you question God's very existence by, on a Christian Ministry site saying something like his/her, when you know full well that God is God and is referred to in the bible as He?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
