Are there Christian School Boards? In Toronto the major School Boards are either Public or Catholic both are equally large in size. Is it the same in the US? What kind of School Systems are out there?

We have:

the US Department of Education

A Board of Education for each state

and a Board of Education for each county within each state.

Our school boards are secular for public schools. Private and religious academies and schools set their own policies (outside of legal issues.)

Are religious academies any good? Are they widely accepted? Do students pay to attend them? How big are they?

In most cases ,eductaion and not morality, they are far better than the public schools. Morality wise, it is my understanding that they ar about eqaul to the public schools. Yes, people pay tutition to attend. Catholic schools and education are huge here.

Well, three of my grandchildren attend Christian academies but...they're 5 and 6 years old! They seem to be ahead of other kids their ages though. I had two nieces that went through school in one and they graduated with honors. Yes, you do have to pay for them but scholarships and grants are available. It's $6,000 per year (per student), on the average, here in Houston. Don't be discouraged by that though; there's always a way. Have you applied for a foreign student visa from the U.S.?

Oh its not to attend school that I'm asking... It's to teach! I want to know if I can serve in a Christian school instead of a Public one since they might get on my case of I speak about God.. but who knows it might be better to go undercover in a Public school and makes disciples.. lol

Bro, one of the worst examples of evil I ever saw happened here. There was an atheist who posted here and he admitted to being a High School Teacher. One of his goals was to find the kids who were believers and then to undermine their Faith. :24:

An undercover Brother wouldn't be a bad thing in the public schools around here.
