The Bible prophesies in Daniel chapter Seven and in Matthew 24 that a man will stand in the rebuilt third temple and proclaim to God. To get here, the temple must be rebuilt.

There are sceptics that claim that there will be no rebuilt third temple...

Well, someone should inform the Israeli's because they are already preparing to rebuild it.

http://www.templeinstitute.org/main.html This site updates frequently...it is the organization that is over rebuilding the temple. They have already made all the garments and furnishings for the temple. Rabbi Chaim Richman is the man over the Temple Institute. He is a well respected Jewish Rabbi in Israel.

http://www.templeinstitute.org/current-eve...dcompleted.html

All they are waiting on is for the oppportunity to get started on the actual building. The Jews have finally been given access to the temple mount. That is an important step towards their goal.

They are actively breeding red heifers in order to get a pure red heifer. As soon as this happens we will see a spike in progress on the rebuilding because they will view this as a sign from God that it is time.

Greetings Dusty,

The Bible prophesies in Daniel chapter Seven and in Matthew 24 that a man will stand in the rebuilt third temple and proclaim to God. To get here, the temple must be rebuilt.

What are you referring to In Daniel 7? This is what Mt. 24 says:

Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand)

If you were to do a thorough study of what is said of the "temple" in the NT, you will find two Greek words interpreted "temple". The first is "hieron", which is the physical temple AND all its surrounds, the buildings, the walls, the altar or the Holy Place and of course the Holy of Holies.

The 2nd Greek word is "naos", it is used here:

John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

1 Cor 3:16-17 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

The "church" as a whole is also referred to as the "temple of God".

Revelation only mentions NAOS, NEVER the HIERON.

No where in the WHOLE NT is mentioned a future construction of the physical temple. Here is the reason why:

Daniel 9:26-27 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

There are sceptics that claim that there will be no rebuilt third temple...

Yes, I am certainly skeptical of the "secular" idea or the ideas of the "antichrist" that a physical temple shall ever again be rebuilt.

Well, someone should inform the Israeli's because they are already preparing to rebuild it.

If you were to do an honest investigation into this, you would find a relatively FEW who are preparing for a "rebuilt temple". These are ULTRA-ORTHODOX Jews - MORE ANTICHRIST THAN YOU CAN EVEN BELIEVE, that are being supported by CHRISTIANS in their efforts. THIS IS AN ABOMINATION! This support just goes to show what the Christian community knows about ISRAEL!

Realistically, considering the state of world affairs, if even the slightest move was made to rebuild the physical temple, the ARAB WORLD would come down on Israel like stink on a skunk. Knowing this, the entire free world that support Israel strongly advise against listening to this small group of radical ULTRA ORTHODOX Jews.

One more thing, some of that group say that ALL THERE HAS TO BE, is an altar, represented by one of the Solomon Temple's altar stones upon the site, and it is sufficient to begin sacrifices again. WELL SORRY....

God has made it clear that the building of THE TEMPLE "must be made according to the pattern" which God gave to David and then he gave to Solomon. This ain't going to happen my friend, no matter what the ANTICHRIST says.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

Greetings Dusty,

If you would properly exegete the appropriate scriptures with sound hermeneutics, you would come to the same conclusion as I. It would be ONLY to your benefit.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

To add to all this, I would highly recommend these 2 books:

1. "End of Days"-Gershom Gorenberg

2. "When Time Shall Be No More" - Paul Boyer

Dear Dad Ernie--thank you for that edification re "temple". Helps re <2Thessalonians 2:4> perhaps.

Don't know how many times i have heard about 1948 and Israel's becoming a nation for the first time since at least the first Century as being a gigantic end-times prophecy fulfillment. Have heard some pro and con re doubt as to whether this is God's Israel or man's Israel. Remember also that The Lord warned us in so many ways about deception. Couldn't recommend these 2 books higher-they get into so many areas.

I personally think <Ezekiel 38-39> is still future. Look at <Ezekiel 32:27> and <Ezekiel 38:15>. ???

Hello Dad Ernie, God Bless you

My brother, I have just joined the Board, I am new here,..........And not only that, it is almost sunrise, and I am very tired after working earlier tonight.

Please bare with me, as I need to do some research in scriptures, memory failing as I get older ( forgive me, please ), but there may be some things I may be able enlighten you, as well as others on the building of a third temple.

I will post again on this thread, it may take a couple of weeks, or even longer, but this discussion should go forth, Lord willing.

I accept that there will indeed be a third temple, and it will not be like the one in the time of Solomon, the time of Nehemiah, or the time of Herod (the one which our Lord entered, by the way).

How can I say this you ask?.........The scriptures reveal the truth, not what I say, or even what you say is the truth.

Perhaps, everyone should consider a very good bible study on the differences of the temple in Rev. ch.11:1&2.................as compared to the temple in Ezekiel chs. 40-45...........there are many differences.......see if you can find them?

Anyway, I will address this thread at a later time, with scriptures........God Bless.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
