I don't know if there are any Jewish Christians today. If there are their shouldn't be. After all Christ came to bring everyone together under His name (Gal 3:28). In the 1st century Jews who became Christians attempted to make others follow certain Mosaic laws. This issue was discussed and put to rest in Acts 15. It was decided that circumcision was not necessary for salvation and not necessary to be done. There should not be any Christians practicing circumcision as a spiritual rite.

There are plenty of Jewish Christians today. They are called Messianic Jews. All that I know do practice circumcision.

A Jew coming to faith in Yeshua as their Mashiach doesn't make them a Gentile (non-Jew).

Peter, Paul, and the other disciples never ceased considering themselves to be Jews.

Did Jewish people who joined the church continue to circumcise and do Jewish Christians circumcise today?

As per the covenant with Abraham that is.

Lot's of Jewish believers continue circumise their sons, as well as have Bar Mitzvahs Bat Mitzvah's and even conduct Jewish weddings.

Are you equally opposed to African American Christians, Hispanic Christians, Korean Christians, etc.?

After all Christ came to bring everyone together under His name (Gal 3:28).

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

(Gal 3:28)

What Paul is talking about is that God recognizes no ethnic pedigree, gender, or social status in terms of who may be saved. No one regardless of ethnicty, gender or social status has any advantage or disadvantage where accss to God grace is concerned.

In the 1st century Jews who became Christians attempted to make others follow certain Mosaic laws.
No, that was judaizing cult.

This issue was discussed and put to rest in Acts 15. It was decided that circumcision was not necessary for salvation and not necessary to be done.
It was decided that the Gentiles did not need to be circumcized. It did not address Jewish people at all.

There should not be any Christians practicing circumcision as a spiritual rite.
Circumcision was not ever and is not now, a "spiritual rite." It was/is done to acknowledge God's eternal covenant made by God to Abraham and his descendents. The New Testament does not EVER condemn circumcision. It condemns the belief that circumcision is a necessary pre-condition for salvation.

Perhaps you would expound on these verses -

Ga 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

Php 3:2 (KJV) Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

Php 3:2 (NASB) Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision;

Php 3:2 (NIV) Watch out for those dogs, those men who do evil, those mutilators of the flesh.

Php 3:2 (NRSV) Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of those who mutilate the flesh!

Php 3:2 (RSV) Look out for the dogs, look out for the evil-workers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh.

Php 3:2 (ASV) Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the concision:

Php 3:2 (NAS95) Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision;

Php 3:2 (BBE) Be on the watch against dogs, against the workers of evil, against those of the circumcision:

Php 3:2 (WEB) Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision.

Php 3:2 (DBY) See to dogs, see to evil workmen, see to the concision.

Php 3:2 (YLT) look to the dogs, look to the evil-workers, look to the concision;

Php 3:2 (NKJV) Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation!

Php 3:2 (MKJV) Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision party.

Php 3:2 (MNT) Beware of "these dogs," these mischievous workers, beware of the concision!

Php 3:2 (Oracl) Beware of the snarlers, beware of evil workers, beware of the excision;

Php 3:2 (TCNT) Beware of those 'dogs'! Beware of those mischievous workers! Beware of the men who mutilate themselves!

Php 3:2 (WNT) Beware of `the dogs,' the bad workmen, the self-mutilators.

Do you see something in them that is inconcistent in what I posted already?

Ga 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

That is talking Gentiles about why they don't need circumcision to enter the Kingdom of God.

Php 3:2 (KJV) Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
That is referencing the Judiazing cult, whom Paul said should cut off their own genitals. Again, it is referencing Gentiles not needing to be circumcised.

Do you have a problem with Jewish believers being circumcised?

The problem in the first century was that many Jews were trying to force Gentiles to become Jews in order to become saved.

Notice vs. 4:

You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law ; you have fallen from grace.

When circumcision was viewed as a form of justification, it was a distorted view of why the Lord had Abraham and his descendants be circumcised in the first place.

Php 3:2 (KJV) Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

Php 3:2 (WNT) Beware of `the dogs,' the bad workmen, the self-mutilators.

Notice how many times it mentions "false circumcision" - not "circumcision" nor "circumcision, which is false."

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
