I was just sitting thinking last night.....a rare event, and I wondered...

What does God think about a person who denies His existence, over a person who admits He exists but does not accept Him?

Is one worse than the other?

And is there scripture that differentiates the two?

What does God think about a person who denies His existence,

"The fool says in his heart there is no God."

over a person who admits He exists but does not accept Him?

Nothing comes to mind on this one.

But in both cases, I am betting it breaks His heart.

I don't believe He sees one worse than the other, both are rejecting Him... how they go about doing it still ends with the same results.

And is there scripture that differentiates the two?

One that comes to mind which puts them in the same shoes.

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Lost is lost.

Absolutely; I don't think the Lord sees a difference in the two.
