Interesting. Anyway - I do know that we over-anti-bacteria our lives, and this is harmful. If you remove all the healthy and benign bacteria, what is left over is a playfield for all the ant-bacterial resistant bacteria. This is why we are now having a huge problem with such. We, by our "cleanliness" have increased their numbers!

We would probably be shocked to find out who doesn't bathe very often. I think it's just appalling for someone to only wash their hair once a month! How could a person stand it??? Poor hygiene can lose jobs, prevent one from getting a job in the first place and totally decide who you marry (it has to be someone as uncaring as you are!) I personally think those who don't care if they offend others are very anti-social and narcissistic.

I'll admit that, because my hair is so very dry, I shampoo only once a week. (Shampoo it more often than that, and it feels and looks like straw.) But I most certainly bathe daily - and here in hot-most-of-the-year South Texas, believe me, deodorant is a must.

I personally think those who don't care if they offend others are very anti-social and narcissistic. I absolutely agree!!! I have, in years past, been forced to deal with employees I supervised who had terrible personal hygiene and were working closely with the public. In at least one case, the employee had some depression and mental illness; in another case, the employee was European and as a custom did not bathe as often as necessary. One can bathe each day and use natural soaps/shampoos and brush their teeth and gums without endangering the the sensitive balance between good and bad bacteria. There is nothing worse than having to sit down with these individuals and explain that their personal hygiene is affecting the way in which our office operates and no one wants to work with them on a project because of the foul odor.
