Besides it's my thread and I have alot to say, so all over the board is good for me now! Besides I had to throw that late tribulation thing in there, for the pie in the sky fellows; Mark. 13; and Mathew. 24, discribes the timing! I used to be pre-trib, but most of these people will fall away under tribulation, this was never an early doctrine! Heres another one, the 144,000 are spiritual virgins, they haven't fornicated with the Harlot church and acepted her beliefs! We are the Israel of God, and His bride will also be spiritual virgins! So the Lord is only going to marry spiritual virgins, who have kept themselves unspotted by the world; the rest will be guests invited to the wedding! The 144,000 is the bride of Christ, will have His mark on their foreheads, each one will recieve a special name from Jesus, and each one will have an intamate name for their beloved! We are the Israel of God and out of us He will choose a spotless spiritual bride, not some natural Jewish boys, that hadn't had sex yet! You want to be in the battle; you need to be pure!

Greetings Shamah,

In the Millenium we will rule and reign with Christ as priests and Kings, and as Jesus is the high priest after the order of Melchizedek, so will we become priests after this Godly Priesthood, no longer after Aaron. So the Israel of God is of a new and greater priesthood. Look at Hebrews 7; no godly man would allow the titles here as, King of righteousness, prince of peace, like unto the Son of God, and if he had no lineage it is easier stated, but this man was never born and will never die! This is the Lords priesthood, and it never was paterned after a man!

With the changing of the covenant, there needs be the changing of the priesthood; a spiritual covenant, a godly Spiritual Priesthood.

Though some natural Jews may have access to the earthly temple in earthly bodies, the true Israel of God will also have access to the Spiritual Jerusalem in Spiritual, and supernatural bodies! Which Israel do you want to be apart of?

I noticed you mentioned that you left the pre-trib doctrine. Well at least we can agree there.

But I was on the button in my first post, you came here with an agenda, not to discuss or reason but to impose your beliefs. I would suggest you back off a wee bit and read through some of the archived posts.

As for your penchant on identifying the Body of Christ on this earth as "the Israel of God" is completely unwarranted in the scriptures. We are neither to add nor take away from the Word of God. this is exactly what you are doing. If you have some NEW TESTAMENT justification for this, please present them. You have read the posts between Yod and myself and you know my position, or at least I hope you do.

Please give us reason to ADOPT your interpretation with appropriate scriptures.

I don't think he's insisting on anyone adopting his particular view of the "Israel of God" as much as he's just explaining why he believes the way he does.

There are a few things he said that seem a bit overly dogmatic to me but overall I think he's on the right path.

It's so simple,Israel in the flesh was the Israel of God. The gentiles being grafted into the olive tree with the believing jews, have been adopted into the family of God . But a spiritual family now, verses the old physical lineage! The Israel of God has become all of Gods children in the spirit; but you must be able to understand spiritual things to see it! Some people have been taught in a way that blocks them from seeing. The new testiment focuses on spiritual matters, thats why even the apostles couldn't understand the sayings unless explained, or untill the spirit of Christ reveals it.

The kingdom is within you, its a kingdom you can not see, the Isreal of God is that kingdom, so you can not say here it is, or its that country, or people over there.

Those who really can hear and see will, and the others can believe what they want ,if they dont get it after it is explained. Sometimes we must go on with those who will go on, others will not believe, they will just say thats not what it means, because they see only in physical terms. But there is both physical and spiritual, in the Spirit is were you find the Lord, His will, and His wisdom to understand the word, which is spirit and truth.

I see what you mean and I agree.

Israel are Jews after the Flesh, but those that believe in Christ both Jew or Gentile are the true Jews born after the Spirit and these are the true children of Abraham. Because Abraham had two children one was born naturally and one was born by faith in God.

So the true children of Abraham are born by faith and not after the flesh or you could also say that one was after faith and one was born by the result of unbelief.
