"Many shall be invited, but only a few shall be called."

"On that day many will say, "Jesus I knew you." But I will turn my head and say "I never knew you."

When the religion becomes more important than the Gospel,it's best to stay away from those so-called Christian religions.

lets look at this from a diffrent angle...the real Question here is really about Gods character rather

than if Mormons are christian, isnt everyones real question, "Are Mormons going to ####?"?  does God refuse too work in ones life because of an "inaccurate" doctrinal views of the Truth?  Dont we all in some way do God injustice by attempting to describe and define that which is fundamentally un-definable, so are we not all guilty of "incorrect dogma" at some level?

i feel God honors INTENTION over correct concepts of correct doctrine...

...we are only humans

Hi Humansoul,

How many ways do you think there are to enter heaven?

Why did Jesus say that He is the truth and the Life and the only way to heaven?

Hi Angels, I have no idea what mrhumansoul is referring to. There is no scripture that I could find to support his claim of many ways to salvation.

But I have a feeling you already knew that and only wanted to coax an answer from him. LOL!

Jesus said "I am the way and the life."

Jesus said "Nobody comes to the Father except through me".

That just about says it all!

Hi MrHumanSoul,

After reading your reply I see you have not found Bible scripture to back your saying that there are many ways to Heaven. To tell you the Truth you will not find anything to support that. Jesus is THE ONLY WAY. Only through Jesus will anyone find the peace and joy of Heaven.

hi all thanks for your responces, i dont want it to seem like im rude or anything, i respect you all....

jesus himself said of a few ways into heaven, i feel what jesus says has more athourity than what pauls or martin luthers opinions were about it.......

matt chapt.5...blessed are the poor in spirit ((humble, rating themselvs insignificant)), thiers is the kingdom of god.

blessed are the pure in heart , for they shall see god.

matt 5 :10

matt.6:15

matt.6:3-4

I agree that JESUS has authority over all things, and therefore when He said;

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

...He did so with absolute authority.

JESUS is the only gate through which we may pass to Heaven. There is NO other way to the Father, except though the Son. His blood was shed for our salvation. No other means of salvation exists. Being "good" is not enough.

your sciptural reference does not have more athourty over the verse about the pure of heart seeing god...jesus said both...here we are at a theological paradox.
