Paul explains it well in Romans 7 - the struggle between flesh and spirit, and where we are in it.

Life is not easy - Christian or otherwise. But to specifically answer your question, I've known all along that the Christian life is not easy. My flesh just doesn't want to die!

Wow the exact opposite, ********************.... I dont believe you dont stop striving till your dying breath. Which leads me to the major problem of posts: still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest. (Boxer by Simon and Garfunkel). Not a great choice but it will suffice. Have you read scriptural debates? If you have you will see that they are doctrine vs. doctrine without a concrete point that measures theyre answers is mindless? My main point is to stop that. Ok, you have an idea of salvation bring it down to concrete personalities or events within the Bible. That is my only revolution and its regrettable that you misread me. For the Bible is paradoxical and gives no option but to act. I fight against the conception of mental ascension, and people giving Christianity a nod and then going about purely earthly matters. But the fact is Christ put the earthly pyramid upside down putting all the weight unto himself. And Christs action to the misinformed may lead them to believe they do not need to put effort or sacrifice towards salvation. Was Abrahams action of putting the knife to his son a non-event? Christs mercy is boundless but dont grieve or tempt God by any means. Ok, Nebula?
