Folks....I cant stand to see this! Not at all. We are all believers. We come and we post for the fellowship of the believers and for the edification of non believers. If I am a non believer and I read people "going at each other" on a Christian forum, I think to myself "Is this what being a Christian is?". Remember, how Christ said the world could identify his followers. "How they love ONE TO ANOTHER". Let us have open conversation and pray for an open heart and ears to hear.

You edited your post. What happened to the "I don't care"? Too harsh?
No, it wasn't too harsh, because I don't care that you were talking to Fez. It would not make any difference who you were talking to. You were wrong in your assessment and that is why I responded. I edited my post to give it more substance.

You have such a distorted sense of reality.
No, I don't. Nothing you were saying to Fez was fair or true. The narrative as I presented it is there for anyone to see.

Why don't you try letting people speak for themselves?
I am not speaking for Fez. He is capable and has spoken for himself. Even when he does you pile on the false accusations. I am affirming what Fez said in the spirit and intent that he presented his claim. YOU have tried at least twice to misrepresent his remarks to be something they are not and twice it has been demonstrated to you that your assessment was wrong and still you persist trying to protect your wounded pride.

You're creating problems where there were none. You're an instigator. Plain and simple.
The problem was already there. You don't think making false accusations about Fez is a problem? Or is it only a problem when your claims are demonstrated to be false?

You're not happy unless you're belittling someone.
I am not belittling anyone. I am pointing to your unfair and dishonest treatment of Fez. YOU were making false accusations about Fez. You simply don't possess the integrity to admit that you read Fez wrong.

And just so you know, I'm not the only one that feels this way. I've talked with others on this site who've said the same thing. You need to lighten up.
I don't really care who you have talked to. I have crossed the line; I readily admit that, but that does not sanitize your dishonest handling of Fez's comments.

You have demonstrated that you can't follow the natural flow of a conversation and are too quick to assume the worst about Fez, so I will stay here and correct your false claims about him until they cease, or until you apologise to Fez for projecting motives into his arguments that were not true.

So pious. Quite the little guardian you are.

I don't abandon my friends. I certainly am not going to abandon them to false, and unfair criticism, from other spiteful and dishonest posters over something those posters are either unable to understand, or are simply too wicked to want to.

The fact that you're still babbling on about these accusations I supposedly made, tells me you haven't got a clue as to what you're talking about or what the issue was to begin with.

Why don't you give people a chance to speak for themselves before you jump in and start condemning. You're just rude and yeah, I know you don't care. As long as you can talk down to someone your day is made, I get it.

What a way to go through life.

Sorry, but the text is right in front of me. I know exactly what i am talking about and I know exactly what the issue was and it was you who started making the false accusations.

Why don't you give people a chance to speak for themselves before you jump in and start condemning.

Fez DID speak for himself and you still continued to condemn HIM. You are the one bringing on the condemnation and trying to tie him to atheists and Karma. YOU are the one making the condemning remarks that you can't defend. You have been refuted by both Fez AND me. You're problem is that you can't bring yourself to admit that you got both points wrong and so your only recourse is to make yourself look like the victim, when it is Fez who is the victim of your pathetic, false accusations.

You're just rude
No, I am simply direct, straightforward and am able to express a level of honesty that you are unwilling and able to face up to.

and yeah, I know you don't care. As long as you can talk down to someone your day is made, I get it.

You are not a victim and I have not mistreated you. You simply cannot answer my correction of your false accusations and so you are defending wounded pride by attacking me for having the temerity to challenge you.

I like the phrase "we are punished by our sins not for them" because it gets at an important point.

Sin for a believer is a punishment; we are doing what we do not desire to do. In addition there are certainly the temporal consequences of sins.

But if you like to sin, you won't like heaven you will prefer hell as hell is where sin reins. Sin is death it cannot bring happiness nor peace nor love. So those in hell could not stand heaven, they would hate it, imagine being around perfect goodness when you are filled with hate or lust. Heaven would be boring it would be horrible for someone in hell, people sold unto this nature are blinded they cannot see heaven or Christ as scripture points out.

"T't'that's all folks!"

Here is the abuse of the ToS, just in case any participating in the slanging match have somehow forgotten:-

Abuse of other posters is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, name calling, insulting, harassing, threatening or in any way invading the privacy of another poster. We also strongly discourage giving out personal information such as email addresses, physical addresses and phone numbers on the public boards. Any information given out in private is at your own discretion and risk. (Eph. 4: 29)

Debate the subject, not the person. It is possible to disagree about a doctrine or subject under discussion without insulting the person with whom you are debating. Also remember that the fact that a person disagrees with you does not mean they are attacking you as a person. Respect each other in the love of God! This is the main reason that threads get stopped, shut down, and even deleted! Users that cannot respect others will be banned. (Lev. 19:18)

To those involved....If you were speaking face to face with each other it would not matter, you could be up front, down the line and insult and accuse to your hearts content and mix it all with a huge dose of sanctimonious self-justification...the fact is that other people are reading these threads and when we all joined Worthy, it was on the understanding that we understood and agreed to the rules and would abide by them...this commitment that you voluntarily bound yourselves to is being dishonoured and is wrong.

I don't personally think non-Christians will be too surprised to see we have moments like this...we are all adults and we are not perfect by any means...but that is not the point....try considering the ToS of the New Covenant as well.

Anyway 'nuff said guys, please learn and change a few attitudes...it is a pain going over the same ground again and again.

Thread closed.....but don't let that stop you from swallowing some pride and pm'ing any apologies you deem fit. :)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
