first off, a bit of background.....

Lexi ( my niece, my brothers daughter ), has Spina Bifida aculta ( not full blown spina bifida )....

Spina Bifida is where the spine is not formed correctly, and full blown spina bifida the spinal cord can be outside the spine thru an opening in the spine.....

those that have spina bifida usually do not have a very long life....

Diane ( my sister ) also has Spina Bifida aculta, she is 41 years old.....

Spina Bifida aculta is where the spine had closed off ( unlike spina bifida where the spine is open ) but the spine still had not formed completely.... if you have some one bend over, and look at their back, you can see ridges sticking up, with spina bifida aculta, there is not a ridge ( bump ) rather there is usually a dimple ( this usually occurs in the Lumbar region of the spine.... that is the only visual sign there might be...... other problems are paralisis, bladder problems ( un able to sense when the bladder is full, or controling the muscles that keep it from voiding )

another problem is delays in "normal " developement.....

Another problem with this is the spinal cord can be attached ( teathered ) to the spine.... if it is found early enough in life, it can now be detached and allowed to free float as they are suppose to.... if it is not found early enough in life, it can be debilitating.... the spinal cord should stop at the L-1 vertibrea, and if it is teathered it can reach or be stretched to the L-2 / 3 / or as in Dianes case L-4 is where hers was teathered...... it was released three years ago, and is now sitting free floating at the L-2 vert...... so it is slowly going back to where it is suppose to be, but the permanent damage was done around 25 to 30 years ago when she started her growing from child to adult which caused the cord to be stretched beyond its normal length.... and from that time on, she has had problems with back, and legs.... now she can not stand or walk for very long, and only certain positions can she sit..... laying down is almost as bad as standing, doing any work, even just sweeping the floor causes excruciating pains......

guess what.....

She loves life.... she praises the Lord every day ..... she has taken up doing photography with her husband and they work as a team..... She Loves the Lord..... and knows that one day she will be able to walk and do things all on her own again, her husband does all the cooking, cleaning, house work ( laundry ) yard work, after he does his duties with the city PD....... Diane has yet been able to get a single check from srs or any other organization for disabled people.... she wants to work and can not.... but keeps on keepin on.... focused on Jesus and her husband......

Lexi has been going thru testing, and when the first time it was noticed ( the dimple ) up until this past Tuesday, ( she is now four ) there has been prayers going out that her spinal cord is free floating.... tuesday all test complete and her cord is free floating..... YIPPPPEYYYYYY ..... the weekend of the 4th and 5th,

Lexi was Annointed and prayed over for hours on end.... when she left to go home, she smelled of frankensense and myrh..... that her testing would show that she has a normal spinal cord..... YES LORD..... THANKYOU LORD....

Lord We thank YOU! that you know what is best for us, You know what we need to grow stronger and closer to You..... We know that YOU are the only one that can restore the body, even thou this body is only temporary, we know you care about us greater then anyone else could, more then everyone else combined can..... Lord we know that all things have a purpose, and sometimes that purpose is to just let others learn to love you more, by loving others around them, by caring for others...... Thank You Lord for everything, for with out You we would have nothing, and with out you we would be nothing, with You we have everything and Are everything..... You is the most Awesome of all....

      You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

      Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
