Actually I find the term liberal terribly uninformative. I am a fiscal liberal social conservative, so what do you call me? I have an Aunt who married an American and lived for 35 years in Washington before she divorced him and moved back here. She is an 'American liberal' and we are nothing alike. But the difference from what I hear from her, and what I hear here, is light years apart .

Today, you would be labeled a centrist. Some centrists are social liberals and fiscal conservatives.

American liberalism is pretty much agaisnt anything that makes America what it is. They promote socialism/communism/markism, they pervert our Constitution, in fact they hate our Constitution. American liberalism opposes any and all true Christian values in preference for what is called "social justice' which is just another manifestation of socialism. American liberalism is very anti-Zionist (Jew haters), and have a highshool crush on Muslims. They no longer support or believe in the traditional marriage model, but stand for redefining marriage to include homosexual marriage and so on. They may claim to be Christians, but they pretty much reject the Bible as God's word and certainly do not believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven.

There is no way to be a traditional American liberal AND be a good American or a good Christian.

Shiloh, i know liberal democrats that do not fit into that defination of Liberal.... while there is a group of people who have moved into the Liberal democratic party that are pretty much what you say, it's not right to lump them all into one bag. i know liberal democrats who do respect the constitution and free market, but do think that capitolism needs to be watched closely.

I don't intend to vote for Obama unless some clown like Cain is nominated. He is a nice guy, he has no business being president though.

I have been thinking about this comment you made Forrest, in calling Herman Cain a clown. You could go to any tv station in America or any circus, draw lots between all the clowns and make one the GOP nominee, and I would vote for that person over Obama. They couldn't do any worse. If you could vote for someone worse than a clown, you could surely support a clown. I would compare Obama to a clown, but that would be insulting to clowns.

I'm sorry but I had to LAUGH at the mental picture of the clowns huddled in a circle while someone push a clown and sticks on his head a hat with GOP nominee written on it.

Replace the word Muslims for Jews for who was hated, and you have the extreme right of the Republican party.

Can you display any evidence that people here "hate" Muslims? Muslims are not "hated" by conservatives. That is a false statement. Conservatives are aware, and not afraid to speak out about, allowing Muslims to take over vast segments of the U.S. populace like they have in Great Britian and France. Even small numbers of them can exert tremendous amounts of pressure when they have a sympethetic atmosphere willing to cave into their demands in an effort to mollify and appease them. And all that does is embolden them to press for more and tells them that you are weak. These same conservatives realize that the Muslim mindset and the Western mindset are incompatible. Muslims will not assimilate, and they will not change. There goal is always convert or kill no matter if they do it "peacefully" from within or with a sword. They need to be spoken out against and often. It is not hateful to do so, simply honest and expedient.

The Jews didn't fly planes into buildings to kill innocent Americans. The Jews don't strap bombs on themselves and blow themselves up in crowds. I don't hate Muslims, I hate their false religion that teaches them to kill innocent people that won't convert to their idol worshipping religion. Why should I stand up for someone that declared war on us? I think it is despicable to compare Muslims to Jews, or any peaceful religion for that matter. When was the last time Buddhists killed innocents? It is not the same thing.

Try to read with understanding. I was not comparing muslims with jews. I was comparing the feeling of the extreme right wing toward muslims to the feelings of the nazis toward jews.

The two are not even close to the same thing. The Jews were hated without cause. They were rounded up and killed without cause. Meanwhile, all the Liberal clatter about Muslims being persecuted and even killed after 9/11 has amounted to a whole bunch of hog wash.

I know several Muslims and while they are spiritually deluded they are rather nice folks. We should be real careful about the different sects of Islam and the Wahhabism and the Shia's in Iran that is trying to kill us. We should have a hatred for Wahhabism and Shiaism but not the folks trapped in it. We should also never turn our backs on a pack of wolves. That would be unwise.

Many Jews especially the more liberal ones are some of the biggest anti-Semites you will ever find. They are anti-Zionist and call for a Palestinians state to replace Israel. they would love to see Israel discmantled. The American Liberal Jew is the enemy of Israel.

Liberal Jews are as bad for America and Israel as other liberals are. They were as misled about Obama as other liberals were.

I know you guys must think I am some hardcore leftist, but thats probably because on here it seems like the ideological range is between far right wing and extreme right wing so you see someone thats fairly moderate on here and they look like a commie to you.
