Thankyou my friends in Christ for offering your prayers, and your advice. I will try and answer the questions put forth.

If you don't mind me asking... what do you mean by "she won't forgive herself"? Did she end the adulterous relationship? Or is she persisting?

She feels that what she did was so horrible that she will never forgive herself for what she did as long as she lives. The affair is over.

It may not be "normal" to forgive adultery but did Jesus ever say to "forgive others, unless it's adultery"? In John's gospel, Jesus tells the woman caught in adultery to "leave her life of sin". How can she leave it except to do the opposite of committing adultery... that is, being faithful?

I have forgiven her and expressed that to her .

It sounds like your wife has already made up her mind. If she is Christian, she should know better. The Bible is very much against divorce and she should seek to be reconciled, first'

I have explained to her that the bible is against divore. The problem is her parents, who are christians, have told her that divorce is okay. In fact her mother has told her some people divorce just because. She is not seeking any other advice. Our minister has told her that divorce is wrong and he would not remarry her because it was not a scriptual divorce.

Firefighter 7-7, you are in my prayers to. Thankyou again . I really believe God is going to work this out. I was driving down the road recently, talking to God, and he told me very clearly "It is my battle". I have put it in his hands. There is nothing I can do other than leave it in his hands. No better place to leave it.

That's some pretty weak reasoning by her mother... basically, "it's okay because everyone is doing it". I'll pray for you and your wife. Sometimes, all we can do is trust that God will help.

The fire of our Father's testing is of the nature that all that we hold before Him will be burned away... and what remains will be the proper order of Life in Him! When Christ came and restored the ability of the Indwelling of His Spirit within us... He basically gave us His Life and we are to make it our Life by refusing ourself- the old inhabited nature... Everyone says yeah, yeah, yeah but in the very real since isn't that the despair? The harm or cost of self? That is why the way is hard and few that find it - we cannot even hold ourselves before Him. This reality becomes a pure and undefiled heart that lets go of it's self and lays upon the bridge of faith paved with the substance of Hope in our Father. Just as Christ in the garden so now we also must journey with Him through this narrow passage into the door of Christ into eternal life... I, like OldShep, know your pain and this is the substance of His advice ->let go of self and Spiritually dissolve yourself into the foundation of His Word and you shall have the victory of His Good Pleasure!

Isa 40:31

31 But those who wait on the Lord

Shall renew their strength;

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

They shall run and not be weary,

They shall walk and not faint.

NKJV

Prayed....

Love, Steven

Stand on the word. Declare God's promises out loud, which is sowing the word, and they will come to pass.

Romans 10:17

So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.

Mark 4:24

Then he added, “Pay close attention to what you hear. The closer you listen, the more understanding you will be given—and you will receive even more.

I know I have said it before, THANKYOU, to all for your prayers, encouragement and love you have shown me. You do not know me yet you have stood with me as I go through this trial in life.I told my son the other day that I was thankful I am going through this trial. To some that may not make sense, but I have learn so much during it. It is a very weak reason to say "everyone is doing it". If we as christians do not show the world, what then. I have been speaking God's word outloud and the strength I get from that is aesome. I have been soaking up his word like never before in my life. Thanking you for standing with me through this. I am still amazed at the love I have felt from "Worthy Christians Forum"!!!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
