Colossians 1 25 Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, 26 that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, 27 to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Yod, now your on target, but you don't know it, because Colossians is one of the 7 epistles written on this side of the dispensational line of Acts 28. Guest yod
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: that doesn't say anything about the "Mystery", you are still mistaken or unable to produce, and i still wouldn't appologize for having to ask you 3 times even if you were correct, but your not! This is the beginning of the New Covenant. The "mystery" Paul speaks of is "how" the gentiles were to become a part of it. Remember the big controversy of the original church was "What do we do with all the gentiles?" And the mystery was never that the Gentile would be blessed thru Israel, for that is a promenant feature of the reason Israel was to remain seperate from all nations, so as to bless them, but they failed in that too. and where did the gentiles hear of this? the mystery is that the Gentiles have the BLESSINGS OF ALL THINGS SPIRITUAL IN HEAVENLY PLACES, which was never offered any other peoples before. and how many years went by in the church before the first gentile was added? Maybe this sounds like a basic question but i am interested also in the boundaries of the Word Gospel, what does it encompass? Is it just the message of salvation through the Messiah Jesus or does it include other things? Is the Gospel specific scripture or is it dealt with in all books of the bible? Looking forward to some thoughts. Blessings to all  All Praise The Ancient Of Days I do believe this thread has been hijacked! So, anyway, I am reading what sail2awe has to say, and cannot understand what I am reading. This doesn't sound like average fair "replacement theology." It sounds like something different. But I can't understand what. Like, there's the Scripture that "the natural branches were cut off and the wild branches grafted in." But then we are told the tree was cut down. So does that mean the wild branches were grafted into the tree and then the tree was cut down? Is this a "replacement" to the "replacement theology"? That is, there's supposed to be a new group of Gentiles to replace the original set of Gentiles?

I've always been taught the "true" gospel, *if churches really preach it* is, that Jesus was born of a virgin, died on the cross to redeem our sins, and was resurrected on the 3rd day and is alive!!! That is what the Word of God says and I believe it on Faith to be True. I was addressing a Doctrine posted above that claims we were pre Creation beings. That cohabitated with God. That we are at first Spiritual beings. Sorry for the confusion? I know it is deep???? YBIC :il: Peace, Dave
