Could you imaged if it would have been an Conservative that did this. There would have been madness going on. Rioting in the streets, FOX NEWS would be told to shut down. Democrats would demand Bush to resign. It would have been directly blamed on President Bush.

It would have never ended. It would have been the biggest scandal of all times.

Conservatives are too freakin nice.

The Playing field is differently not even but yet we are still in the lead.

We Christians need to boycot all the secular news sources, and go to the Christian news sources. I have done that now for almost 10 years, and have been more up on current events that most. If all the Christians would boycott them they would have to do something different because they exist on the ratings of how may viewers they have. What I like about it is I don't have to wonder about the truth I am listening to.

Do a quick search and you will find many things that this man has done that are very unethical.

Thats right. Anyone siting forged documents to support their case should be tossed out on their rear end. Its ludicrous. With the resources CBS had they should have checked their info before they went with it. Sure all the witnesses agree that George never showed up for duty but that doesn't excuse them not making sure that one document was real.

Now don't go comparing this incident to Bush and crew getting us into war on false pretenses using forged documents. This is completely different somehow. There is no reason to throw George out of office for quoting those forged documents in his state of the union speach. This is entirely different. After all no one died over George's mistake..... er .... that is.... ...... never mind.

The American people can also stop watching CBS....and they have. When Rather goes it will be an economic decision.

All true and good. It just seems a bit hypocritical to only aim one's anger at those who use forged documents for issues you don't agree with. So I guess the criteria is its ok to lie and get people killed as long as its for something popular. I will walk this path over here. Not as popular. Also not as easy. But its the one that holds to truth and honesty. You walk whichever path you feel comfortable with.

Dan Rather used forged documents that he didn't know were forged to support a case that had plenty of witnesses comfirming their conclusion. He failed to check the varacity of the documents and failed his duty as a reporter.

George Bush sited documents that he had been informed were forgeries to send us into a useless war. He sent our bravest people to fight for a lie. If you are ok with that then by all means vote for him again.

Obviously this is a very potentially hot topic and not the intent of this thread. I appologise in advance. Obviously there are going to be many here that disagree (vehemently) with me on this point. But this is simply how I see the matter. I can handle being in the unpopular viewpoint. But I suspect there are some here that understand what it means to take the unpopular view on some things. This is just simply how I see the issue.
