... It was just after my de-conversion that all pieces fell into place. It took a very short time, really. It was like a copernican moment: once you remove a hypotheses, everything becomes much simpler, and you are ready from day one to explain it; at least to yourself....

Trading In The Glorious Truth Of Jesus Christ

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matthew 1:23

For A Baloney Sandwich

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. 1 John 2:15-17

And A Job Title

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Mark 8:36

What A Sad Little Fizzle It Will Be For The Faithless

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Philippians 2:10

When They Know True Revelation

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. John 5:28-29

Believe

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

]I don't want to bust a bubble of your apparent concept that you were ever a believer! However according to God you never were of us! .... Love, Steven

1 John 2:19

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

NKJV

I'd be a bit shocked if this wasn't against forum rules, if it isn't it should be. Telling someone they were never a Christian simply because they are no longer is a fallacy. Pulling 1 John 2:19 into the discussion [and out of context] doesn't help your cause.

Your argument is not with me But God Who authored this! People may come here and claim anything but to answer with the authority of God's Word is why this forum is here... We are a people in love With The Living God and in the context if this is true we shall remain in Him! If we are false then we shall not remain... You see once the reality of God is born within a person options of making Him no longer to be is frankly stupid! For you can worship a rock, mountain, world or cosmos BUT when you open your heart to Him Who has created it all and has no reason for being other than He always 'HAS', 'IS', and 'WILL BE' there simply is no other replacements available! To adorn one's self with His Mind through the absorption of His Word leads only to this conclusion-

John 6:66-69

66 From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. 67 Then Jesus said to the twelve, "Do you also want to go away?"

68 But Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

There was a time I believed in homeopathy, among other things. Now I don't. That does not change the fact that I used to sincerely believe in it.

Now seriously viole you expect me to take in your word which believes we came from rocks? I will stick with God Who has adaquately taught me all things I need to know about life...

I also believed that there was a black wolf in the forest that will eat me if I do not listen to my mother. I really, did. Does the fact that now I do not

Believe in it, cancel my past's convictions?

It is not nice to deny a part of one person's past beliefs, being part of their lives, just because they changed.

Your basic foundation here is because there are lies there is no truth... but like all that you have ever witnessed there is a dominance and a submission in all things that exist! You prefer your reason, your will, your way- yet- you control neither your beginning nor your ending... In this very same light I recognize that I should yield to The One Who has control of both by the very fact of 'IS'.... and you cannot come from this place where I am to where you are 'it is impossible'...

You have no faith Kid and you will perish into eternal separation from God because you are relying on your own abilities to gain that which is outside of yourself! You are looking within for it! Sinners do not find sinlessness within their realm but is in fact ourtside of themselves waiting to be invited in to take residency!

Rev 3:20-22

20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

22 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."'"

The logical conclusion is that nobody can objectively claim to be saved until she is dead, and this is unacceptable in some circles: that would imply that nobody would be in the position to state that they are saved. The only solution is that you did not believe, really, and you just deluded yourself.

The question is how seriously can we accept the claim of a young person, when she says she is saved

This is not the right concept Viole... when we first begin in Him by asking Him to save us we work out our salvation in fear and trembling because there is much that is new and we are born new and it takes time for growth and application of His Word in the living are all to be put in place... this process is called sanctification and it is a re-learning or renewing of the mind from the lies we are born into back to the truth that has always been and will always be... When life itself test your faith In His Word you pass through fires that reveal what is truth and what is lies and you are affirmed by what really 'IS' within you rather than what you just think! We may know what 'IS' by what comes out on the other side of His fiery trials 'whether we are His or we are not'!

1 Peter 1:6-9

6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 8 whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 receiving the end of your faith — the salvation of your souls.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
