He's going to be in kindergarden in the Fall. The only private schools around here are Catholic. And the public school we haven't heard too many good things about. My husband was raised Catholic. I'm a Missouri Synod/Non-Denominational. I would prefer my son be raised non-denominational Christian. But this is the hand we are dealt right now. What would you do? I'm voting "Other" just to see the poll results BTW.

And they are accepting of other religions.

There must be parents in your area who do this.

I think the public school system would be better, and the money you save you might need to invest in a tutor. This way at least you control the theology your child receives. If you can't find that or homeschool yourself public school to me would be better than an rcc one. I know so many who still even today totally dislike the schooling they had with the rcc. Surprisingly, I did not feel uncomfortable in the Catholic ones. In fact, I am leaning more towards the Catholic school than the public for a variety of reason. They made it very comfortable for me to be there and even had another parent sit down with me (who was not a Catholic) and she told me how accommodating they are toward her beliefs. This made me feel good. I am still going to pray about it some more before making a final decision.
