Far more reaching than Judaism or Israel.

It is merely a symbol that Israel has utilised that expresses a link to King David and unity of the people. Nobody reads anything else into it.

Yes lots of various symbols can be found incorporated into various religions iconography including crucifixes, and some people will try and suggest a power or mystical symbolism behind them. But in the case of the Israeli flag and the use of the star symbol it merely identifies itself with Israel nothing more.

And if the evil one was counting on this kind of shrugging off?

Israel is more than just a people called out by God apart from the nations. It is the vehicle through which God is riding all creation and all eternity of the evil brought about by sin.

Daniel 9:24 (KJV)

24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

1 John 3:8 (KJV)

8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Well mate, I don't pay too much attention to the 'evil one', we know he is the father of lies, and has come to steal, kill and destroy and this

whole thing about the symbolism on the flag of Israel seems to me just another attempt to elevate some symbols and imbue them with

a power they don't possess. The nation of Israel chose their flag based on the blue stripes of the prayer shawl and what was thought

to be the design on the shield of David (some suggest shape) it had nothing to do with seeking some mystical influence or occultic

symbolism.

That others may use this symbol to another effect is entirely possible, but to then try and denegrate the symbol that Israel has chosen

and used over the centuries, doesn't hold much water...the cross has been used in the same sort of way, and I could put up picture

of masonic rites that incorporate the cross, or of the Ku Klux Klan doing their burning stunt etc. All these things, like words, have a

context....to the pure all things are pure.

Hope that explains the 'shrugging off' a little better. Botz

The Christian Cross is also used in occultic practices and is technically pagan in origin. The whole star of david being an occult symbol is a lot of worthless conspiracy theory. Symbols can always be used for perverted purposes no matter what they are.

But the cross and other symbols do no equate to 666.

Many believe the false messiah will usher in a reinvented Judaism that pushes Yeshua out of the consideration and places him as the long promised messiah. That the Old Covenant is "the covenant" he will affirm for the seven years but renege on in the middle of the seven.

Daniel 9:27 (KJV)

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The mark of the false messiah could be something as [seemingly] innocuous as the seal of shlomo...

We already have reinvented Judaism and many reinvented Christianities. So you are correct but you don't have to wait for it, it's here.

I heard/read somewhere that the Star of David is a more-recent political symbol political used in the late 19th/early 20th centuries. And if I'm not mistaken, the menorah is actually the identifying symbol/seal for ancient Israel with artifacts to support this fact found just recently.

Anywho, here's some more topical fodder to review at your leisure: http://israelmatzav....-david-and.html

We can see the star of David in snow flakes, gasp, snow is part of satans plans! :whistling:link link

People can read into whatever they want, but have you considered that perhaps with all these things that are trying to be 'proven to be satanic' are just the advesary trying to get you to put yet another barrior between His set apart ones? Think about that for a bit and let it soak in, it has more than a ring of truth in it. Certainly there are conspiracies that are absolutely true and warning others is a good thing but warning people that the star of David was taken by the Jews from satanic sources and through its use suggesting Judaism is satanic or that a groups of people who use that symbol are satanic is really pushing the envelope.

shalom,

Mizz
