Prophesy or Revelation?

Hello Brothers and Sisters.

Back in July of this year I had a dream on a tuesday night. It was interesting enough to remember but not enough to make conversation over. Thursday of that same week I had another dream, which was like the first only in more detail.

You should know that it was because of these very dreams that I opened my heart to Jesus Christ.

Here's how they went: (they start pretty abruptly)

I was standing on the charred surface of a planet. In the distance I can see meteors striking the surface. There were no clouds, only stars. I look up to see a black triangle position itself directly above me..................I open my eyes and I am greeted by a man. I look around and I am in a metalic room like a shipping/loading dock. He introduces me to the workers there. We walk to another room and he introduces me to many more people. Looks like they are in a caffeteria of some sort. We walk to another room and I am introduced to another man. He seems very familiar. We wait and talk. As I wait I look out of a window. To my left I see a large planet, to my right a moon, very close. Between them are three large metalic shapes, like huge satelites, between them, facing away.............I am with the man I first met again. We are standing on the ground. Gray rocks all over and I see few plants. Many round white tents. He introduces me to many more people. He brings me to a round white tent of my own. He tells me to do what work I can.

Both dreams were very vivid. I recall that in both dreams everyone I met I could sense thier feelings. Everyone was quite compassionate and hopefull. After discussing these dreams with family members I could gleen only one usefull piece of information from these dreams. I would live to see days as ominous as these and on similar scale.

I must mention again that I had these dreams before I came to know and love Jesus Christ. Since he came into me I have quit smoking and drinking, even gave up coffee. I spend most my time chasing signs and learning the word. And though I don't know the word well enough to preach it, I will tell everyone I see that will talk with me to REPENT!

This gives me hope for my husband. I have been praying for God to reach him in his dreams for a few years now. He won't allow anyone to mention anything about Jesus, so I don't but he can't control what he dreams.

I'll admit I'm no dream expert, though I have done a little research into such things.

I wonder what is it about the dream that means to you that this is a future fortelling? Most often, dreams reflect your conscious and often reveal your heart to yourself.

Is it possible that the Lord may have been speaking to you about you rather than showing you "the future"?

(Again, not saying your interp was wrong, just looking for evaluation.)

At this point the only thing about the dreams that leave me to suspect they could be fortelling is that I dreamed the same dream twice in the span of three days. I have only a few dreams that have reoccured in my lifetime, but never in the same week. The fact that they brought me to Christ also smacks of preparation. I still look to Jesus to reveal to me the detail of their meaning.

Well, hold on to your chair, I have an opinion that you might not have considered.

Satan is often allowed to know certain things that are about to happen, and he often takes a shot at twisting or perverting someone's salvation or calling (Jesus in the desert tempted of Satan for example).

The Lord is so amazing that He can take the thing that the devil does and often us it to assist someone turning to the Lord, or trusting even more in the Lord (Job is an example of this).

Your doubled dreams sound new age to me, meaning that the enemy would prefer that you seak visions and dreams, whereas the Lord wants you to seak Him and the kingdom of God.

The black triangle is very common in new age visions and dreams (this is no put down to you), what kind of a devil would he be if he did not try to disrupt your walk with the Lord? (that he probably knew was coming before you did).

The devil gets limited information, and the bible says that, if the princes of this world had known, they would never have crucified the Lord of Glory. The devil is probably upset that his efforts pushed you towards salvation, when his intentions were the opposite.
