:whistling:

Not going there, almost got into trouble on the last two threads.

Ncn Getting in trouble? What a shocker!! :D

Depends on your views about a tatoo. Some say its biblical that your not supposed to because your body is supposed to be a temple others say that its fine/

If that is valid then it's a sin to live in the Los Angeles basin, cause the air quality there is so disasterous to health at times that long term.it will hurt your temple body....

there is a big difference between going and getting "damage" done to your body v.s bad health from the environment

I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this!!!

If you run a search on "tattoo" you will find some past threads on this that you'll find helpful.

My personal feeling on tattoos is this:

“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything. -- 1 Corinthians 6:12

That verse is a good principle to use in cases where things aren't clear, like whether or not to get a tattoo. Also: Does it honor Christ and point others to Him? What's it going to look like in 20 years when the colors fade and skin . . . ah, well . . . when gravity has its effect and things being to sag a bit?

Now I know ,,,,,,,,,I was not going to go there ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but :th_praying:

My thoughts,,,,,,,,,,,

It's what is tattooed on our hearts that is important not the outside.

Look into some one's heart before you judge them from the outside.

Someone once looked into my heart and did not judge the outward appearance.

We became friends and she helped me get my life back on track.

OH, and I didn't have tattoos, I was dressed as a tramp;

I smelt like a tramp and society shunned me and I shunned them.

Strange how things can change when you look into the heart :)

Jesus doesn't look at our outside appearance when we knell and ask Him into our heart.

I just think it's a risk.

At my age I could have had an angel tattooed on me, say 20 years ago, today the wings would have sagged so much it would look like a basset hound.....

If you see what I mean......

One of the most dedicated christians I personally know is 85% covered head to toe with tattoos. So it's obvoiusly not affecting his spirit..... he'll be in serious trouble if he ever needs a lot of surgery though especially back surgery. But he is a really cool dude.

I dont see your point in this? No matter where you go in the world, there still is pollution in the air..... there is a difference between markings on your body and breathing pollution and other bad environmental things that are in the air.
