10 ‘Jewish Facts’ About the New Testament

I would remind you of my view of scripture that God called Jewish people apart to usher into the world the Word of God in two forms (the written and the living). That Jewish people are still the chosen people of earth.

God's goal is to fill the Spiritual House of Israel first with Jewish born people then with Gentile born people. And the end product (we believers) are the chosen people from heaven (whose citizenship is in heaven and whose mother is New Jerusalem).

Faith in the Jewish Messiah does not change one's nationality / ethnicity according to the flesh... but it makes Spirit Jews of us all (first for the physical Jew then for the physical Jew) then in that new person:

Galatians 3:28 (KJV)

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:3 (KJV)

3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Galatians 6:13-16 (KJV)

13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

Romans 9:6 (KJV)

6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

Jeremiah 31:31-34 (KJV)

31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

No mention of Gentiles in this prophecy of the Prophet to the Gentiles...

This is why the Goyum Church suffers from an identity crisis...

Christianity is a Jewish faith but not limited to just Jews.. Christ is a Jew and all the of the new testement writers are all jewish. The very first fiery christian revival was in Jerusalem and spread all over the world by Jews. I dont understand how people can say or think that Christianity is a non-jewish faith. Christianity is putting our faith in a Jewish God. There is no other way to way to God without faith in Christ to the Jew or Non-Jew.
