Then you say falsely and speak untruths. Poor people are not a way to salvation. You bring a false gospel.

you are judging

you are assuming

and you bare false witness saying i am a " FALSE GOSPEL" .

maybe you dont know the meaning of being a good christian. Jesus said not to judge. You are assuming that you are right and i am wrong and openly saying that also makes you a boaster.

Jesus said not to judge.

From Jesus:

John 7

24 Do not judge according to sight, but judge righteous judgment.

Good works do not save. Jesus does.

Ephesians 2

8 For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God,

9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

I don't know how else to tall you that people cannot read your intent behind what you post. They can only read the words you post and what you posted gave more than one person the impression that helping the poor is a way to salvation (your words) when scripture tells us there is only one way.

As I have said, I encourage you to continue your writing, but realize that what people read may not be what you were intending on saying. If you have someone who knows scripture that can proof your posts before you put them up, that may help you understand better as they discuss things with you. Do you attend a church? If so, is there anyone in your congregation who may be able to help?

I'm off to bed. Good night.

the reason the bible mentions caring for the poor and homeless, is so that there is harmony amongst all. So that none are lacking. Good works, are not “a” way to heaven. We are to care for those who are in need because we want to, not because we “have” to in order to earn the salvation. Your statement sounds as if you are saying that we ‘earn” our way.

Caring for others is a good thing, but it is not a requirement for getting right with God, you can’t save yourself thru good works or earn Gods approval thru “good works” and your statement is indeed coming across even to me, that good works is what “wins” Gods approval.

Sorry, but “A way to ” by means of caring for the poor is not correct, for there is only one way to get right with God, and that is when a person believes who Jesus is and excepts his plan of salvation. No amount of good works will add to it. We come to him by faith, not by works.
