FR Chuck is right. She has a demonic problem. As I understand it, whenever anyone turns to satan for something, they receive demons. That is precisely the reason that she can't breathe if she tries to step into the church. It is part of the foothold that satan gets on people in order to keep them from God. I also think Fr Chuck's mention about having the church come to her might be the only way she can be ministered to in this regard. I would recommend that whoever visits should be an wise experienced delieverance minister who understands the nature of this and how to properly approach it because we don't want her to end up worse off than she is now.

[Chiquita,

Do not STOP PRAYING TO THE LORD! Since she has been praying to the devil for so long, he has a tight grip on her (or so he thinks). The more you try to resist devil and do good, the more he will make it hard for you to break away. Everything happens for a reason, sometimes the hardest things (although not caused from God, but the devil) can turn you into the strongest person. Read Romans 5:8. The Lord loves each of us! Read my testimony on the Testimonials (AIDA-GODS WILL). I too am a victim of abuse, and I am a stronger person because of it...although it took a while to say that. I wouldn't exactly say stronger, but it defined who I am and my charcter. I will pray for her. Until then, ask the Lord to reveal hisself to her. Tell your sister to rebuke the devil, and he will flee (don't know what verse it is, but it says it in the Bible). God is stronger than the devil, therefore, the devil HAS to flee when you rebuke him. As far as her having the panic attacks, that is the devil. When this happens, tell her to rebuke him in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord! I will pray for you both!

I have been contemplating how I can help her for some time now. I was wondering if you might be able to advice.

Its a long story but I'll make it short. When my sister was growing up she was verbally and physically abused my our mother. My mother is a big alcoholic and she doesn't even remember half of the things that she did. I can't even think about it now because its just so painful having grown up like this. My little sister tells me that every night she would pray for the abuse to stop. She says every night she would cry for God to help the abuse to stop but it never stopped.

So, unfortunately, she got into praying to the evil one for him to make it stop because she says praying to God didn't work. How far this went, I have no idea because she doesn't like to talk to me about it. So she was into that for a while.

She never finished school. She had a child when she was 16. She never went back to school. She can't ever hold down a job. All she does is live with my mother and cook and clean. She talks a lot about what she wants to do but never does ANYTHING. She wants to model and go to school but shes over weight and hasn't even gotten a GED. She's going to be 21 next month.

I believe that the abuse mixed with praying to the devil mixed together is the reason she is like this. Shes back to praying to God but she can't go into a church. She stand outside and prays from there. She says the closer she gets to the church, the more painful it gets for her to even breathe. She says she gets a bad pain in her chest and she literally can't get close or even walk in.

I've tried taking her and she says no because it hurts. I can't find the words to help her snap out of this. I need advice and a lot of prayers.

My mother still drinks heavily and I pray to God to have mercy on her soul because thats all I can do. I have a lot of anger as well for the things shes put us through as well but I have better dealt with it than she has. I too went through praying to the wrong Gods because I also felt he never answered my prayers either. I too was very angry that he allowed this to happen to us. I have repented and am back with God. I am doing good now but my sister isn't.

Please help us,

Chiquita

ok so your sister cant step into church thats ok make an apointment for your pastor to come and see you both and talk things through.

there is nothing that will shock your pastor he has probably seen this more time than you can imagine, its hard when we pray and we dont get answers we feel GOD isnt listening i wish there was an answer to this but i do know that god as listened to your prayers and he is doingsomething right now he loves you and your sister and even your mom and in time i believe that you and your sister and mom will be singing and praying to GOD side by side.

Thank you all so much! Especially for your prayers as I changes within the family. I had my sister sit and watch the Passion of the Christ with me. She cried as we all did. I think it really made a change in her as she has began praying again.

My mother just keeps giving her negative comments. Just down right aweful things come out of her mouth. I don't understand her. My sister is broken by her abuse and she just doesn't care. She wont help her or help her get help. She just belittles her. She'd rather throw her out in the streets. I just don't understand what is wrong with my mother.

The power of your prayers have made a lot of things change. I am so thankful for all of you and to out Lord. I am still asking for prayers.

Thank you!

God Bless,

Chiquita

CHIQUITA, how are you, and GBU

dear sis, I first off want to say, that the responses from HIS, were indeed, very well said. I couldnt agree more with her perspective and articulation. and that is everything she said. The point about your sisters salvation being in God's hands. As well as the counsel and encouragement that she gave.

Sister, I dont have much I can say, except that I really stand behind the words of HIS. I dont think you need some special person to "cast out demons". Thats almost like saying that if God is going to save her, He needs some "demon caster outter" to be there. Who of us in one time, or in one way or another, didnt give ourselves to the devil. Your sister just happened to do it in words. But all of us have done it in actions. The point is, if your sister is going to be saved, then God is going to do the work. I love the point about being "Chosen" because I feel that its so neglected in the church today. But keep praying for her sis. And let God handle it. Dont push your sister, when God can call her. Just be there for her, as a listening, understanding, kind, patient, and loving friend/sister! And let God do the work. If she is not wanting to talk about church, dont worry about it. Just be there and pray. In this... I'm done talkin here! GBU SIS ;) your pal, Doc :thumbsup::wub::wub::wub:;):P:wub:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
