Would You Consider Abortion in These Four Situations?

1. There is a preacher and wife who are very, very poor. They already have 14 kids. Now she finds out she is pregnant with her 15th. They are living in tremendous poverty. Considering their poverty and the excessive world population, would you consider recommending abortion?

2. The father is sick with sniffles, the mother has TB. They have 4 children. The first is blind, the second is dead. The third is deaf and the fourth has TB. The mother finds she is pregnant again. Given the extreme situation, would you recommend abortion?

3. A man raped a 13 year old black girl and she got pregnant. If you were her parents, would you consider recommending abortion?

4. A teenage girl is pregnant. She is not married. Her fiancee is not the father of the baby, and he is very upset. Would you recommend an abortion?

I would not have recommended an abortion in any of those cases regardless.

I do believe that the option MUST be available to a woman if and ONLY if it is absolutely medically certain the mother would definitely DIE in the process of birth.

This is rare but possible in extremely rare cases...I watch these "birthing" programs, (it's a girl thing)...and it can happen.

Yes, I think the mother should decide if she wants to surrender her own life for her child.

My grandmother's doctor told her that she would likely die due to severe health problems and suffer a very difficult birth. He suggested a medical abortion to save her life.....

My grandmother said, "If I die, I die...but you'll not touch my baby!"

My Daddy was a beautiful blue-eyed, blonde headed boy....and cute as a pumpkin.

My grandmother was a very, very tiny woman...so small and fraile and weak. She couldn't have been 5 foot tall...and thin and teeny...

I think they were afraid she'd perish trying to give birth but she didn't....it was rough but worth all the pain...bless her heart!~

If an abortion is absolutely necesary God would allow it . But it would be very rare andI think God would allow the misscarriage to happen dont you ?. Miscarriage as in naturally ! Woah this is a touchy subject with all of us. I would never want to be in that position. Life is so precious !!

While I am most likely the most Pro life person you can find, we also have to realise at this time, we have death ( abortion ) on demand, often paid for with your and my tax dollars.

That is why I have been so angry at other pro life people, who will not, at least for a method to slow it down, at least agree to a law that will still allow it for medical needs of the mother.

Have we became so strong agaisnt something, that we will not at least for the moment do something to stop most of the killing, even if it allows some.

Then we can start working on the some.

I can not think of ANY situation where I would condone an abortion. Even in the case of the mother's life. I know people who were told they would NOT live, and did. Put it in God's hands. There is NO excuse for murdering an innocent child.
