You are close, all that I know of God I have tested against the Written Word He has given us.

I have had many personal experiences with God and many that my own human weakness told me was God, but the Bible didn't agree.

I do trust God's written Word more than my own human ego

Trusting God himself, alive and real is totally different than trusting God's written Word or the bible for the latter is not the Lord God.

Without a method to test what we as weak humans think is God we are relying on our own ego instead of God.

I will rely on God instead of myself as you have chosen to do

So it sounds like you believe that personal revelation is superior to Biblical revelation in this instance? :help:

God bless,

GE

A.  The bible is not the Lord God and eternal life does not reside in the bible and contradiction is only in the people's mind since God knows what was truly said by Him.

B.  You did not carefully weigh what you said in this part because if the result of eating the fruit was allowing sins to enter their lives, then they were really clothed in sins after eating the fruit.

C.  Joined together is the tie not in marriage or marriage per se and one flesh is the offspring which will come out later, come to think of this carefully. Tell me, did you and your spouse became literally one flesh after you were put in marriage? But how about your offspring, didn't they become one flesh as a result of the union of your flesh (sperm cell) and that of your spouse (egg cell)?

I believe that the Lord God himself, not the personal revelation we received from Him,  is superior over the bible of today.

A. So what Scripture says regarding pastors, deacons, elders, etc. is a contradiction only in our mind? How do you pick and choose what is truth in Scripture and what is false? Whatever God reveals personally to you? Be careful my friend when you speak contrary to what is in God's Word - Scripture.

Rev. 22:18-19

I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

Deut. 4:2

You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.

B. God sacrificed an animal to atone for Adam and Eve's sin. They were clothed in the skin of an animal. This was pointing to Christ's sacrifice that would be made to atone for all sin.

Gen. 3:21

21 Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.

C. We'll have to agree to disagree. When I was married to my spouse it's pretty clear according to Scripture God didn't view us as two individuals any longer but one in the convenant of marriage. Our children are a result of our covenant relationship to each other before the Lord. Children are indeed a blessing from the Lord. However, the one flesh is not a promise of a see but a promise of a realtionship.

Again, any spirit that is from God will not contradict the Bible. What God has revealed to you is not superior what God has revealed through His Word. Between your interpretation (or your relatives/friends) of Scripture that is extra-Biblical and what is clearly in the Bible we should stick with Scripture. Can you see why I (and others) are taking issue with your "new" revelations?

2 Pet. 1:20-21

Knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

God bless,

GE

God bless you too, GE. WE now have to part since we do have different takes and faith and may this not be a cause of division among us. Let us just confine to our mind and thoughts each of our own respective take and faith. Nice talking to you, guys.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
