Ann,

If you read my post to Jacqueline, you'll notice that I believe whatever we put forth into the universe will return to us, good or bad. Therefore, I also believe that when we pray for others, out of love, it is the one who prays who receives the blessing. I do not believe in such a thing as mind control, imposing our will on others....unless of course the prayed for individual KNOWS he is being prayed for.

Then, according to his beliefs, the prayer will have an effect.

Greetings in Christ; Ephraim;

God's will is able to answer a prayer, saying yes, or no !

God can punish us for our behavior, or through His blood and our repentance, wipe our record and deeds clean!

Satan and the principalities of this world can use evil words, prayers, even by so called christians, and act on them; counterfeiting what appears to be the will of God, and putting people further into spiritual bondage, by lying signs and wonders!

A name it and claim it crowd believes we can receive anything we want if we believe we have it already; turning God into some kind of spiritual santa claus!

But God's plans are far above our plans, if you ask according to Gods perfect will, you will receive it! But very few people know God at all , let alone His perfect will!

God often uses suffering to bring forth vessels of silver and gold, purified in a furnace of affliction!

So even those who say that God's desire is that no one be sick, or suffer, hasn't read the whole bible, and the suffering Paul and all who are Godly must suffer!

During this time it may be true that an evil prayer attracts demonic forces, and a Godly prayer , Gods ministering forces! Because whether we know it or not we are in a battle for our wills and heaven or hell!

So the evil will do miracles to assure your passage to hell, while Godly forces are working for your repentance, so that you can come to a place of total surrender to God: that you might find His life by Loosing your own!

Matt.5:16-20;

16Let your light so shine before men that they may see your [26] moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and [27] recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.

17Do not think that I have come to do away with or [28] undo the Law or the Prophets; I have come not to do away with or undo but to complete and fulfill them.

18For truly I tell you, until the sky and earth pass away and perish, not one smallest letter nor one little hook [identifying certain Hebrew letters] will pass from the Law until all things [it foreshadows] are accomplished.

19Whoever then breaks or does away with or relaxes one of the least [important] of these commandments and teaches men so shall be called least [important] in the kingdom of heaven, but he who practices them and teaches others to do so shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20For I tell you, unless your righteousness (your uprightness and your right standing with God) is more than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Matt.5:44-46;

44But I tell you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,(13)

45[36] To show that you are the children of your Father Who is in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the wicked and on the good, and makes the rain fall upon the upright and the wrongdoers [alike].

46For if you love those who love you, what reward can you have? Do not even the tax collectors do that?

Matt.13:18-30;

18Listen then to the [meaning of the] parable of the sower:

19[8] While anyone is hearing the Word of the kingdom and does not grasp and comprehend it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the roadside.

20As for what was sown on thin (rocky) soil, this is he who hears the Word and at once welcomes and accepts it with joy;

21Yet it has no real root in him, but is temporary (inconstant, [9] lasts but a little while); and when affliction or trouble or persecution comes on account of the Word, at once he is caused to stumble [he is repelled and [10] begins to distrust and desert Him Whom he ought to trust and obey] and he falls away.

22As for what was sown among thorns, this is he who hears the Word, but the cares of the world and the pleasure and delight and glamour and deceitfulness of riches choke and suffocate the Word, and it yields no fruit.

23As for what was sown on good soil, this is he who hears the Word and grasps and comprehends it; he indeed bears fruit and yields in one case a hundred times as much as was sown, in another sixty times as much, and in another thirty.

24Another parable He set forth before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.

25But while he was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed also darnel (weeds resembling wheat) among the wheat, and went on his way.

26So when the plants sprouted and formed grain, the darnel (weeds) appeared also.

27And the servants of the owner came to him and said, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then how does it have darnel shoots in it?

28He replied to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Then do you want us to go and weed them out?

29But he said, No, lest in gathering the wild wheat (weeds resembling wheat), you root up the [true] wheat along with it.

30Let them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will say to the reapers, (GATHER THE DARNEL FIRST, AND BIND IT BUNDLES TO BE BURNED), but gather the wheat into my granary.

Sounds like judgement will begin at the house of God, (churches) !

Matt.13:36-43;

36Then He left the throngs and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him saying, Explain to us the parable of the darnel in the field.

37He answered, He Who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.

38The field is the world, and the good seed means the children of the kingdom; the darnel is the children of the evil one,

39And the enemy who sowed it is the devil. The harvest is the close and consummation of the age, and the reapers are angels.

40Just as the darnel (weeds resembling wheat) is gathered and burned with fire, so it will be at the close of the age.

41The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all causes of offense [[13] persons by whom others are drawn into error or sin] and all who do iniquity and act wickedly,

42And will cast them into the furnace of fire; there will be weeping and wailing and grinding of teeth.

43Then will the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God) shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Let him who has ears [to hear] be listening, and let him [14] consider and perceive and understand by hearing.(4)

1 Peter.4:16-19;

16But if [one is ill-treated and suffers] as a Christian [which he is contemptuously called], let him not be ashamed, but give glory to God that he is [deemed worthy to suffer] in this name.

17For the time [has arrived] for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will [be] the end of those who do not respect or believe or obey the good news (the Gospel) of God?

18And if the righteous are barely saved, what will become of the godless and wicked?(3)

19Therefore, those who are ill-treated and suffer in accordance with God's will must do right and commit their souls [in charge as a deposit] to the One Who created [them] and will never fail [them].

There is a constant battle going on; those who with humility endure the persecutions, and shame of the way of the cross, and those who mostly unwittingly help the enemy by acting and doing as the world, mind, and the enemies of the cross would direct!

The old saying that if you don't believe the Devil can use you, or even exist, he can use you according to his will, and you won't even notice!

Many of these people think they control their lives and their thoughts, but they are manipulated as puppets! But if the Holy Spirit is able to humble you unto obedience; then you start to feel the wrath of your eternal opponent in battle!

The Lord allows suffering and battles, to grow you into a trustworthy servant willing to give all! There are very few of these, though the seed of Abraham be as the sands of the sea, a remnant will be saved!

Agape in Christ; Ephraim.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
