God at the Max Station

Saturday 9/14/2013, I was praying where to go and had a vision of Montgomery Park right next to Multnomah University’s campus. So Me, Dem, and Chris went there, and started praying for people hanging out in the park. We came across a guy and a girl. The pulled out his bible and started asking questions. They were going through a rough time. The night before, their friend overdosed on heroin. The girl had a lot of demonic bondages, and was trying to get out of prostitution for drugs. She asked us to pray but walked away as soon as we started praying. We prayed over Ryan for a muscular disorder and just that he would experience God’s love for them.  We also prayed with him for the girl, breaking off witchcraft and praying for her freedom. Chris noticed a demonic doll in a tree with writing all over it and Holy Spirit revealed it was witchcraft had him take it down and threw it away.  After that, we got Willie from Multnomah Campus and went back to the park.

 

We came across Ron, Don, and Saed at the end of the park. When we offered prayer each one of them wanted prayer for a job and to get off the streets. We prayed over them and got words over Saed’s knee and prayed until it felt better. We prayed over Ron’s knee also until it was better. He damaged his meniscus.  After that, we headed to the Max station on 82^nd.

 

At the Max station, we started praying over a few people walking around. We then started praying and worshiping there to change the atmosphere. After that, William and I went up to a guy and girl and showed them a video on the camera, then started to get words over each one of them. They were rocked that God knows them so well. While this was going on, Dem was praying over a girl who was getting into some bad stuff and he started getting words over her as he prayed for her.

 

After that, Chris and Dem prayed over a girl named Sarah and started getting words over her. She was really impacted. After that, they saw an older guy stumbling down the steps drunk. They prayed over him and talked with him for about an hour and a half. He said five minutes after talking to them he became miraculously sober. His hip and back also got healed.

 

While they were talking to him, William and I saw a guy  and asked him if he would like prayer. He wanted prayer for a job interview. We prayed and then got a word over his shoulder. After a quick prayer, he dropped down and did 10 pushups. Got up and asked what I did to him. I said that Jesus healed his shoulder because He loved him and that He wanted a deeper relationship with him. Then, the Lord started revealing how he viewed God, and how He wanted him to view Him.  After that, three young guys walked by and we prayed for them and got deep words over two of them.

 

Then, there was a guy named Jayme, who was a clean cut guy who just moved in the area. He said he would never turn down a blessing, so we prayed for him and God started revealing his whole testimony about a lot of drama that happened where he was from and what God wanted to do with him. It’s so amazing to meet one of God’s future soldiers. He was rocked by how well God knew him and let to count the cost of full on commitment to him. William had to leave after this, so I met back up with Chris and Dem who were still talking with Gary.

 

After that, a guy called us over and started complaining about how prayers are never answered, and that the bible does nothing, and that no one helps out so why help anyone. He continues his rant for a good 15 minutes. Just then a tatted up guy came up to me and asked me for a pen and paper. He wrote down his number and walked up to the guy and told him to be there at 7:00 am if he wants a job started at 12 bucks an hour. God is so good! In the middle of ranting and complaining against him, He faithfully shows his goodness.

 

After that, we went back to the park we started at. We saw Ryan and he said everything changed after we prayed for him. He spent the day apologizing to those he had wronged and he had no more anger. He said his mussels were feeling better and then we found out about his feet. After a quick prayer, his feet were healed and he was like “Who are you?” God is so amazing. Then, we met up with Skylin, the girl from earlier and started ministering to her. She said since we showed up at the park everything changed. Another girl who was hanging out got up and fled the scene as soon as we approached. We prayed over an older guy named Mark who had been an alcoholic for 30 years. Then, Skylin finally let us pray over her and she broke down crying. We started speaking God’s heart and love toward her and praying healing for the past. Some major chains were breaking. God put on my heart to give her a pure brotherly hug. I told her that I was married and I wanted to give her a pure brotherly hug from a brother who wants to see better for his sister. She broke down crying and was set free from a major stronghold. She then confessed that Jesus was going to pull her through this mess. My wife showed up to pick us up so we left. She was like, “Wow, guys really are human.” And she was serious, lol.

 

 

Ok, I want to express something. I am not writing these testimonies to be like “Look at me, look what I can do!” I am writing these testimonies in hopes to commission you, the reader, to be empowered to do the same and greater. People in this world are crying out to experience the goodness of God,  and they don’t realize it yet. They need someone like you to tell them how much Jesus loves them. If you believe in Him, you’re called to minister. Seat warming is not a ministry. Get out and become love to a world that is dying without it. You are called to be a witness. You are called to make Him famous. Go!

 

Romans 10:14-15

How then should they call on Him in whom they had not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written,

 

How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,

Who brings glad tidings of good things.

 

Lord, Daddy, I pray that Your fire would consume who ever is reading this, That You would rise up a passion for Your name, Lord I pray that You would fill them and empower them to manifest Your Kingdom wherever they go. Thank You and praise You, in Jesus precious name amen.

I used to go to MU. The park is Montville park not Montgomery park, lol.

Yes,I am familiar with that campus.A really nice school.Their is a Montgomery Park but it is in NW Portland.
