    Real adorable,I may just need one....but don't you have to have a piece of property?You did mention mobile ones sio I would imagine you would have to park in an RV park or something...I live in South Florida so thats probably why I cannot imagine where you would be permitted to stake your claim-lol   RV parks here cost well over $600 per month,its all ridiculous

Wow they pay more then me and I live in nearly 7 acres. I wouldnt live there, wheres the deal in living in an RV park?

 

And get this, cargo containers are like $2000 dollars and they also have cargo container pools LOL Just upside down and line them

 

It wont let me post the picture, what is an image extention? You can do a google web image search on cargo container pools, they are nice, longer then the typical pool and far less expensive it seems , since the typical pool costs about the same as a car.

 

 So I have been looking at the container houses all day today. Pretty much looking into which kinds what lengths, all of their ins and outs(their heights, insulated, used, new etc)

 

They seem great because they are strong, and stackable, can be added to, they are wind resistent, fire resistent, termite resistent (ofcourse) and they float too. They make floating homes out of them too.

 

Kwik, make it a floating house and your good lol Unless they charge you to park on the sea? I dont know about that lol

 

The ones posted are considered a trailer of sorts, given they are built on one and have wheels I think. Folks can park them in neighnors back yards or in driveways, at camps or in your own lots. Though I believe their size (if small enough) and dont quote me on this but if the stationary ones are something like 8 by 14 (I believe) its treated like a shed on a property (not a home) however you can have a multitude of sheds of that size, and yet as long as they are not connected you and you dont mind that they aremt you can get over on permitting and being treated as a home lol

 

I like that idea, sorta feeling my way through which way to go, what exactly I wouldnt mind, just how small, whether it should be mobile or stationary etc.

 

We are in a rural subdivision now qhich is against alternative structures (which the other residents havent stuck to) but its also expired and the man who made the rules is in jail (so whats he going to do?) right? The land Im on was divided once before I bought it, Im wondering If I could subdivide my own land? Which I hate, its all clay, cant grow anything (wells are too deep, 700 hundred feet) so I think I would rather find some other rural area which has far richer soil (and a shallower well depth) and// or streams and if it would be possible to buy as little of the land there over alot of land. I cant work it so why buy alot of it?

 

 I havent looked at that yet though. But typically rural land is cheaper per acre, and given the house is so tiny (depending on which size ) you dont necessarily need land that has been cleared (as you would a large home) even for a septic system and so the size works for you in land purchasing.

 

But I still dont have my husband on board, and he will be miserable in one of those, so Im trying to see about these shipping containers, and no more then three of them, which cost is still half of what some of these tiny homes are.

 

I actually thought of you sis when it come to one of these too, you interested in one Kwik stuff?

 

Like, if you get one can you park it at your sons house?

 

Because it wouldnt make much sense to get one and park it in an RV park when you can get a 2400 square foot home on several acres for less monthly lol

 

You can do an image seach of cargo container houses, which show them from single ones to many stacked, from plain to fancier
