So, according to your example above, Mercury (57.9m miles from the sun) should be warmer than Venus (67.2m miles from the sun).  Well it's not.  Care to guess why?  Maybe distance from the source of energy is not the only factor for heat?  You have a fundamental misunderstanding of the second law.  The corona being hotter than the photosphere in NO WAY violates the second law anymore than Venus being hotter than Mercury does (or do you dispute that Venus is hotter than Mercury).   Hopefully you can see that distance isn't the only factor in heat (temperature).

Go back and Re-read the OP slowly.  You're Mercury/Venus spiel is a Strawman.  You're getting confused between the evidences......Heat and Speed of Particles.

 

 

 

Really?  Are you are saying that Venus is hotter than Mercury due to particle speed?  That would presume particles pick up energy the further the get from the sun?  You are making no sense.

Not really...... because I'm not saying that.  The Heat Issue and Particle Speeds are 2 Separate Issues.

 

And Yes, Those particles do pick up Speed the Further away they get from the SUN (See Graph in the OP and Below) which put's Your and They're "Theory" of a Thermo-Nuclear Reaction into the Trash Bin of Fables

 

 

 

 

In the Above Bar Graph, the bars to the left show the speed of Ionized Particles (Hydrogen and Oxygen) beginning on the Surface of the Sun, then----->Mercury------->Venus---->Earth.  How In The World are they SPEEDING UP??  It's tantamount to throwing a baseball 90 mph then the ball continually speeds up the farther away it gets.  Please don't say Gravity LOL

Now if that's True, then.............................................Most of Cosmology and the current research and Theories Thereof is HOGWASH!!

 

 

And Most Specifically:  that the All Precious GRAVITY(The answer for everything) /Gravity Waves (predicted in 1916...and which we have never found after spending Billions of Dollars looking for) is a fairytale.

Okay. Can you explain how the Nebular Hypothesis contradicts with my speculation of Genesis on page 1 of this thread? I did read through your other (Nebular) thread and I think I got the gist of it. You brought it up when contradicting my post, and I was just hoping for some clarification. It's not a huge deal, though.

I realize that I did sort of go off on a weird and imaginative tangent, and I'm sorry for going OT, but that's how my brain works. lol
