  1. Is released soldier a traitor?

I think it is pretty clear he is a deserter at a minimum. He walked off his post leaving his gun and gear.
  2. WN: New Mexico county defies U.S. government over cattle grazing - Re

They probably should anyway. Its high time the states stopped letting the federal government blackmail them out of their rights due to "public funding" In fact, New mexico should just tell the federal government to not only keep their money, but stop paying the feds taxes-I imagine once they do that they will have no problem being financially stable without the US governments assistance. In fact theyd likely do a better job as the federal government only knows how to make things worse. The mere fact they get back 2x the money they give the federal government I am not sure they would be all that well off if they followed your advice. There is a school of thought lately that the state governments are somehow more responsible and better managed. I would say there is zero empirical evidence to support this idea. Most states have a higher degree of cronyism than does the federal government.

then the Federal Government should withhold all federal funds going to New Mexico. Which would really hurt that state as they receive more than 2 dollars back for every dollar paid by them in taxes. New Mexico has the highest ratio of money from the feds vs money paid to them.
  4. WN: Satanic group says Oklahoma must give the devil his due - Fox New

Well said, I agree it should not matter if we are doing our job as Christians. It might even backfire on the atheist, I cannot see too many people being drawn to that monstrosity.
  5. WN: Satanic group says Oklahoma must give the devil his due - Fox New

Do you not view putting Christian symbols on public property as pushing an agenda? Didn't Jesus give us an agenda to push at the end of Matthew?
  6. WN: Dobson Rejects Charge His Comments 'Inappropriate' - WND

I would say the president has zero effect on abortion
  7. WN: Satanic group says Oklahoma must give the devil his due - Fox New

Something to consider about your comment. If we do live in a free society, why is it that every reference to God, be it the 10 Commandments, a picture of Jesus of a cross, bibles in school, prayer in public meetings being forced to cease, removed or taken down? I believe it is not a free society, but one guided by sin and rebellion against God. That is a bit of an over exaggeration, just yesterday the Supreme Court upheld the right to open a meeting in prayer. Many of the actions stopping people from doing things are over reactions from those in charge and are not following the law. The rest have been a battle that is for sure, but that is sort of what a free society is all about, everyone get to try and puch their agenda, not just the majority. I would agree about our society being one guided by sin and rebellion against God, but then I would say that has been true of every society down through the history of the earth, to include Moses and the tribes.
  8. WN: Satanic group says Oklahoma must give the devil his due - Fox New

This is the price you pay for living free society. As much as I disagree with their beliefs, I think they have the constitution on their side.
  9. WN: Dobson Rejects Charge His Comments 'Inappropriate' - WND

The problem with the comment is that it is inaccurate. When Bush left office there were 285 abortions per live 1000 live births and 19.46 abortions per 1000 women of child bearing age. Either number were the lowest of his presidency. Since Obama took office those numbers have dropped every year and in 2012 there were 261 abortions per live 1000 live births and 16.56 abortions per 1000 women of child bearing age. I realize that none of this is due to the polices of Obama, but unless Dobson was complaining about Bush, he should not be doing so about Obama.
  10. WN: 53% Think Neither Political Party Represents the American People

But I do wonder how many of that 53% still vote almost exclusively one party or the other.
  11. WN: 53% Think Neither Political Party Represents the American People

It will never change under our current two party, winner take all system. Also, as long as television is the dominant media source those with the money will always have control. More money is spent on TV ads than any other thing in a campaign. Take away TVs dominance and then money becomes less important.
  12. 100% of California in drought

Or maybe the climate is changing and this sort of thing will becomee the norm vice the exception
  13. WN: House passes Ryan budget - Fox News

So, these "sweeping cuts across the federal budget" not only do not impact the defense budget, they increase the defense budget. Because I guess outspending the next 15 countries in the world combined is not good enough? Out spending the combined budgets of 180 countries by almost 100% is not good enough? And this sounds promising?
  14. Do u guys remember this?

Sometimes "because I said so" is the right answer. Why did Abraham prepare to sacrifice Issac? Because God said so, that was good enough for Abraham, it should at times be good enough for children.
  15. Common Core mush

Then maybe you can explain why all my children's workbooks have the words "Common Core" emblazoned all over them. Chloe, not sure who you quoted when saying there is no common core, my computer usually says a name unfortunately in this instance it does not. I would simply like to say to whomever you quoted, I thought there was no common core. You cannot say that there is no common core when there is common core emblazoned all over the books of school children. However, I would like to comment on the fact that common core is not so much about testing as it is making a one world government. There is no Common Core "curriculum". Common Core is a list of things that a child should know at the end of a certain grade. That is all that Common Core is. Each individual school district then decides how to achieve that list. How it is done, as in what curriculum to use and what lessons plans is different from one school district and even one school to another. If your local school is trying to make a one world government I would suggest at the next election you replace your school board members.
