Moldavia was a region of Romania untill 1942, whem USSR occupiaed that region untill 1991 ,when Modavia became an independent country. .In 1992 Russian minority population from Transnistria East Moldavia- proclaimed independence of Transnistria .There was a "war" fighs between Moldavian army and Russian people ,in that moment 1992 Russia sent troups there and occupied Transnitria (as peace troops), today they are still there . Only Russia recognized Trasnistria independence.
