It seems Ovedya answered for me - but I am just responding to acknowledge your response.

It is very disturbing to see a person say, "I am a Christian," yet post expressions of hatred towards God.

You see my point is that we as christens would be EXACTLY like the muslims are now, BUT FOR the fact that christanity ADAPTED TO THE MODERN WORLD.

This is just silly. You offer NO HOPE for there to be a way for the mid. east to be at peace WITHOUT converting to christanity. Again very silly, and very dangerous. You cant just ask an entire culture, and millions of people to just one day change their ENTIRE cultural make up, and is ridiculous to

expect form people to do just that.

No, Christianity has in effect created the modern world as we know it. Most of the great scientists, such as Newton, were Christians. It was out of the Christian "world" that all the modern advances in medicine, science, art, music, etc. came. Christianity did not "adapt." The modern world is what it is, in large part, thanks to Christians. Isalm not only does not adapt, but it tries to destroy what progess has been made.

You hit the nail on the head, Fenix. There is no hope for Middle East peace without Jesus.

The Muslims need Jesus. They do not need more politics, or another "peace process," or whatever. They need Jesus to set them free from Islamic Fundamentalism. They need Jesus to come into their hearts and change them from the inside out into new creations. They need salvation. Otherwise they will die in their sins, and live forever separated from God. When Jesus comes into the picture, everything changes. He makes all things new. He gives new hope, new purposes, and new beginnings. That will change the hearts of those who currently follow Islam, and cause them to follow Christ, instead of their false god, Allah. If that is what you consider "silly," then you need to examine just how much of a "Christian" you really are.

Changing their belief about who Jesus is and who Mohammed is (or should I say isn't) and how to worship Jesus isn't asking them to change "their ENTIRE cultural make up."

My goodness, what if the Apostles and early Christians didn't spread the Gospel of Jesus to the nations of the world because they were worried about "culture"?

Why debate the issue when by simply observing the global scene one will view Islamic terrorism in the epicenter of practically all mass-murder? Not Buddhism. Not Sikhism. Not Hinduism. Not Jewish action. Not Roman Catholicism. Not Evangelical Christianity. Only Muhammad's Islam. Why confuse the issue? If one is prepared to stand athwart current world happenings, one must conclude in all sanity that Islam - almost totally alone - seeks to mass-murder its opponents.

Muhammad spelled it out for those who tend to wonder. All "infidels" and all "renegades" are to be cast into hell. And so the bloody Islamic caliphate marches onward - and still some kind folk (like CNN-types, etc.) plead ignorance. Ignorance of WHAT?

I simply "love" what (Sura AL-BAQARA 2:16) states, "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not."

Yea, and to be true, the religiously-driven law of CONQUEST swept Islamic armies into Syria, Israel, Mesopotamia, Egypt, North Africa and Spain. The sordid advance was finally - thankfully - halted by one, Charles Martel, grandfather of Charlemagne, outside Paris, France in AD 732. Later, Muslim hordes encompassed Europe, moving as far west as Austria before suffering defreat in the late 17th-century.

Muhammad's goal is EVER the same: a Global Islamic Caliphate and the return of modern culture to the 7th-century lock, stock and barrel! Muhammad: Man of Violence. Jesus Christ: Man of Peace.
