Any advice about anger?

~ I get furious often.

Why

What good does it do

why do you want to fix it

what kinds of things do you get angry about

how do you react when angry

have you seen a councilor about it

why

the answer to your problem with anger may be in the answers to these questions

Or you could be suffering from the lack of sleep, or you may actually be mentally ill or possessed.

That simple question you ask isn't really very simple....

I get angry, but now I have managed to reduce it to verbal outbursts. Most of my anger these days is focused on anger at the evil in the World.

Any advice about anger?

~ I get furious often.

I memorized some verses that may help

James 1:19-22

Brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. Therefore, get rid of moral filth and all the anger that has been so prevalent, and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves, do what it says.

sounds marvelous, unfortunately it's not that simple to do.....    saying "stop that" to a person who has anger management problems just causes anger...

Try to think before you react to a situation that makes you feel angry, is it worth losing it over?

and If you need to take a walk outside and get away from the thing that makes you upset before blowing your top, you can also do that by mediatating on the word of God or listening too music

that's uplifting when you feel overcomed with anger. Take a time out.

You may also have a chemical or hormonal imbalance which may need to be helped and managed.

Diet  and lack of sleep can affect mood.

A thought:::::    when you get angry, who suffers?     The person or thing you are angry at or you?

I guess it depends on what it is your furious at...I know I slip up every once in awhile and my emotions sometimes get the best of me. Its OK if we get angry every once in a while, So as long as we don't sin. Such as lie, break blood of another, cheat, use the Lords name in vain or steal just because were mad, or in the processes of our outburst. We gotta have some self control. As In the story of Jesus turning over the money changers tables. There is a time for anger. one might call it righteous anger?? Which I think oakwood was kinda describing... cause If you love what God loves you hate what he hates. Praying! God bless.
